This season the Catholic League Basketball Coaches Association is naming a Player of the Week and picking a game that everyone should have attended.
The weekly announcements can be found below.

League play through Jan. 18
Players of the week
Tyreek Duren continues to lead the nationally ranked Neumann-Goretti Saints through an undefeated season, averaging 22 points over his last three games.
It is hard to mention one without the other, so the La Salle guard tandem of Troy Hockaday and Eddie Mitchell warrant Player of the Week honors together. Double digit scoring was the standard for both as they led the Explorers to three straight wins.
Game we all should have attended
Father Judge and first-year coach Sean Tait held off perennial Catholic League power Roman Catholic in a 46-45 test of wills.  A boisterous crowd witnessed Reggie Charles convert 5 of 6 free throws in the 4th quarter to secure the victory.

League play through Jan. 11
Player of the week
Ike Robinson of Conwell- Egan Catholic averaged over 21 points while leading the Eagles to three consecutive league wins.
Game we all should have attended
After a wonderful pregame memorial to the late great Eddie Burke, which was attended by many of the local coaching legends, perennial rivals St. Joseph's Prep and La Salle College High School squared off in a defense-oriented overtime thriller that was fittingly decided on the foul line.  The home team, St. Joseph's Prep, walked away with a 52-49 victory.

League play through Jan. 4
Players of the week
Juan’ya Green of Archbishop Carroll was 5-for-5 from beyond the arc in a thrilling 80-77
overtime victory versus Conwell-Egan.

Joe Nardi of St. Joseph's Prep scored 28 of his team's 60 points in a league win versus Monsignor Bonner.
Game we all should have attended
Neumann-Gorretti vs. Iolani Prep in Hawaii. Explanation unnecessary.
