St. Genevieve . . . CYO Champs, 2005

   On 11/19, in a game played on the artificial surface at Haverford School,
St. Genevieve (Flourtown), coached by Don "Doc" Dougherty, defeated
St. Francis (Springfield, Delco), 26-8, to win the Archdiocese of Philadelphia
championship.

   For the Wildcats, who finished 12-0 overall and 10-0 in league play, Sam
Feleccia scored three TDs and Drew Loughrey passed to Dave Martina for
the other score.
   Feleccia made numerous big hits on defense; the "D" surrendered just two
TDs all season.
   Other mainstays were John Farris, Floyd Shaffer, Casey Maher, Matt
DiGiacomo, Mick Foley, Dan McBrien and Charlie McDonald.
   Also deserving of mention are Mike Camusi, George Giovinazzo, Brendan
Courtney, Taylor Searle, Anthony Cognetti and Devon Barrett.
