Advertising Opportunities . . .

    As you might know, I went through the 2000-2001 school year without having ads on
this site (except for one small ad on Kev Hanlon's basketball page). I wanted to establish
the site as a fun/informative place and prove to people that we could do a good job before
taking a big next step. All work by Huck, Amauro, Frog, Sparky, Doc, Pat the Stat and
Lefty was done for free, and these guys really put forth strong efforts, as their busy lives
permitted.
    Now, I would like to pay the guys for their work. Only fair, right?
    That's where you come in, hopefully.
    My hope is to place ads on each of our football Team Pages (look above for a sample).
The cost is $25 per ad, which covers the entire season. There will be TWO ads per page
and they will be in the upper corners. Ads from businesses or individuals will be accepted.
I will include: name, address, phone number, short slogan, web address (as requested).
The name of the sponsor will ALSO be listed on the football Random Thoughts page,
as that area gets a lot of traffic.
    If the school you want to sponsor is already taken, I will return your money. If you have
a second or third choice for a school, please let me know.
    In addition, I am trying to solicit banner ads from three companies for the Home Page.
The cost for that is $100 per month. Also, we are now posting ads for the bottom of the middle
ortion of the Home Page  at $50 per month. Any leads in this area would be appreciated.

    My hope is to use some of the money to present more awards to athletes, such as we did in
the "Best Teammate 2001" contest.
