   King 16, Penn 6: Hector Owens struck out nine in a four-hitter. Hector Bernard and Robert Grant had two RBI apiece.
   Franklin 14, Dobbins 8: Luis Santiago fanned 12 and Demetrius Atwell had five RBI.
   Franklin LC 13, West 2: Cody Worthy allowed four hits, fanned seven.

  Fels 5, Furness 2: Steve Barnes fanned 14 and allowed one hit, Ed Daly’s fourth inning double.

   Northeast 7, GAMP 5: Ari Bluestein got the win and cracked a two-run homer.
   Lincoln 8, Mastbaum 5: Mike Hearn went 3-for-4 with a double, triple and four RBI. Rick Bates and Steve Gallo added two hits apiece.
   Franklin 7, Overbrook 5: Luis Santiago fanned eight and had a three-run double. Overbrook’s James Clark struck out 14.

   Central 15, Washington 0: Noah White pitched a five-inning one-hitter with 10 strikeouts. Adam Davis and John Hogan both had a triple among three hits.
   Southern 8, Dobbins 5: Ralph Digneo homered to support Mark Riso (2-for-3, double).
   Univ. City 13, Straw. Mansion 1: Andre Point pitched a five-inning one-hitter with nine strikeouts. UC had just one hit and was helped by eight SM errors.
   Franklin LC 25, Lamberton 4: Chris Bragg fanned 10 in five innings and Cody Worthy went 2-for-2 with three RBI.
   Olney 6, Bok 2: Ivan Colon fanned eight in a four-hitter and supported himself with a two-run homer. Morad Farah also homered.
   Kensington 15, Gratz 5: Josh Williams fanned eight in three innings. Pedro Martinez posted a homer and four RBI.
   Saul 16, Eng. and Science 6: Andy Godlewski went 3-for-4 a double and three RBI. Bill Clark whiffed seven in three innings.

CATHOLIC LEAGUE
   Ryan 2, SJ Prep 0: Tom Dolan fanned seven in a two-hitter and went 3-for-3 with a double. Pat Keegan doubled twice.
   Bonner 7, North 3: Frank Nunan went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and Randy Milia fanned nine. Nick Condo went 3-for-4 with a double.
   Dougherty 12, Neumann 3: Sean McGovern pitched a three-hitter with 14 strikeouts. Tom Kee had a two-run homer and three RBI. Jim Ryan had two doubles, three RBI.
   O’Hara 24, McDevitt 3: Mark Barrar hit for the cycle and collected six RBI. Mike Antonini fanned nine in five innings.

   Carroll 8, Judge 1: Mike Costanzo fanned six in five innings. Brian Grimes went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI. Jim Gillin and Anthony Altomare both went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
   Kennedy-Kenrick 9, La Salle 1: Chris Lubanski pitched shutout ball over the first three innings.
   Roman 4, Conwell-Egan 3: Pete Doyle allowed four hits and Anthony Capella doubled. Roman scored all four of its runs in the second.
   Wood 16, West 0: Matt O’Connor pitched a no-hitter with 14 strikeouts and Kyle Brennecke went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

APRIL 3
PUBLIC LEAGUE
   Frankford 4, Northeast 0:
Dave Firth, a Northeast transfer, fired a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts. Firth and Joe Manini had back-to-back homers in the third inning.
   West 5, Penn 1:
West's William Ortiz (15 whiffs) and Penn's John Moore (18) traded one-hitters. Both took no-hitters into the seventh.
   Bok 8, Eng. and Science 2:
Maurice Hunter allowed four hits.
   King 9, Germantown 8:
Chris Bolden went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer.
   Kensington 11, Mansion 3:
Frank Graber stroked a three-run triple.

APRIL 4
PUBLIC LEAGUE

   West Philadelphia 11, U. City 7: Terrell Roper struck out 12 in six innings, and also went 2 for 3 with four RBI and four runs scored. Zeb Palmer went 3 for 3 and knocked in three runs.
   Kensington 12, Lamberton: Frank Graber singled, doubled and tripled for four RBI and scored four runs. Josh Williams slugged a two-run homer and Will McKernan added two hits and three RBI.
   GAMP 10, Edison 0: Andrew Scafetta pitched three innings of the two-hit shutout and helped himself by going 3 for 3 with nine RBI, including a three-run homer in the third inning and a grand slam in the fourth.
   Lincoln 7, Saul 6: Lincoln rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh, including Rob Cowie's game-winning sacrifice fly. Tim Szychulski poked three hits and Steve Galoo knocked in three runs.
   FLC 11, Mansion 1: Senior righthander Cody Worthy accounted for every out via 15 strikeouts in pitching the five-inning one-hitter. Anthony Bove singled twice, tripled and scored three runs.
   Mastbaum 4, Fels 2: A throwing error led to two decisive runs in the fourth inning to break a 2-2 tie.

   Overbrook 15, Gratz 5: Kristian Clarkson piled up five RBI with a single, triple and solo homer in support of Noel Austin's nine-strikeout pitching.
   Germantown 9, Penn 5: Freshman pitcher Brandon Cuff allowed only a first-inning single, struck out 11 and also lined a two-run double.
   King 26, Dobbins 14: Roy Owens and Renaldo Grant each had a single and a triple, and Dobbins' William Walter doubled twice.
   Southern 13, Franklin 1: Ralph Digneo clubbed a two-run homer in an 11-hit attack, and Tyler Bowker fanned 12 in six innings.
   Frankford 12, Bartram 1: Carlos Rivera ripped three doubles and drove in four runs, and also handled the pitching with 12 strikeouts and five hits allowed.
   Northeast 18, Central 1: Doubles by Adam Hopman, Steve Sandberg and Jim Brady were part of NE's 18-hit offense.

   Bok 4, Furness 0: Justin Lannutti, a junior righty, struck out 16, walked three and gave up two hits. Cedric Green homered.
   Olney 20, E&S 0: Edwin DeLeon fanned 10 of the 13 batters he faced, and matched teammates Ivan Colon (four RBI) and Eddie Ortiz (three RBI) with three hits each.
   Washington 22, Roxborough 4: No details provided.

APRIL 5
CATHOLIC LEAGUE
   Bonner 9, West 0: Junior lefty Kevin Horning made his first career shutout a 14-strikeout no-hitter. He walked three. Nick Condo and Mike Shalon had doubles.
   Kennedy-Kenrick 9, Neumann 0: Sean McManus allowed one hit, a sixth-inning single, and had a solo homer en route to three RBI.
   Roman 6, Carroll 1: Matt Daley pitched a one-hitter (Jim Gillin's triple) and Anthony Capella cracked a grand slam.
   O'Hara 6, SJ Prep 5: Mike Essery won it with a sacrifice fly in the home seventh after Prep scored three in the top half.
   La Salle 9, Dougherty 1: Dan Waters fanned seven and John Reifsnyder went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBI. Tony Liberatore had a two-run triple.
   Conwell-Egan 4, North 2: Mike Kane went the distance and Tim Carroll went 3-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored.
   Judge 6, Wood 5: In a three-run home sixth, Judge scored three times on Paul Koenig's two-run double and Dale Curry's RBI triple. Drew Mammarella won in relief. Wood's Matt O'Connor had a double and a three-run homer.
   McDevitt 9, Ryan 8: In a three-run home seventh, Mark Finley had a two-run single and the winning run scored on an error.
PUBLIC LEAGUE
   Roxborough 5, Bartram 4 (9 inn.): Chuck Richardson went the distance. Vince Cardona drove in the second run in the visiting ninth, which came in handy when Bartram scored one in the bottom half.
   Lamberton 13, Overbrook 7: Rob Harvey fanned 11 in 6.2 innings and slammed a three-run homer.
   Lincoln 7, Furness 6: Tim Szychulski allowed two hits and fanned 13 over 6.1 innings and had a grand slam. Furness scored thrice to create a 6-6 tie in the visiting seventh. Lincoln scored the game-winner on an error.

APRIL 8
PUBLIC LEAGUE
   Frankford 4, GAMP 1: Glenn LaBadie pitched a three-hitter with nine strikeouts and had a two-run double in a four-run fourth. Adam Hartman and Matt Colon also had RBI.
   Northeast 12, Roxborough 3: Ari Bluestein struck out 11 in six innings and had four RBI. Steve Sandberg went 3-for-4 with a triple, walk and two RBI.
   Central 8, Edison 4: Ryan Abrams lashed a solo homer to help make Steve Hopkins a winner.
   Washington 8, Bartram 2: Joe Gillen fanned 13 in a three-hitter. Harry Parfitt went 2-for-4 with a double, triple and two RBI.
   Mastbaum 9, Bok 2: Jose Colon fanned 11 and slugged a two-run homer. Maurice Hunter homered for Bok.
   Olney 8, Saul 7 (8 inn.): Saul scored four in the visiting seventh. Olney countered with three in the bottom half (the big hit was Morad Farah's two-run double to tie) and one more in the eighth on Eddie Ortiz' single.
   Furness 7, Eng. and Science 0: Dan Gold fanned nine in five innings and had a solo homer.
   Lincoln 13, Fels 4: Devon Wirt got the win. Steve Gallo had three doubles and Tim Szychulski homered.
   King 12, Univ. City 0: Robert Bernard pitched a five-inning one-hitter with 10 strikeouts while Renardo Grant went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored.
   Gratz 7, Franklin 6: Kazeem Sanders allowed six hits, fanned 12 and went 2-for-4 with three RBI. He had a two-run single in a three-run home sixth that reversed a 6-4 deficit. Don Curtis had a two-run double.
   Overbrook 8, Straw. Mansion 8 (tie): Called by darkness after 10 innings. Mansion's Brahin Smith struck out 15 and walked 10. Overbrook's Kristian Clarkson had a three-run homer.
   Kensington 14, West 4: Josh Williams pitched a five-inning two-hitter with 10 strikeouts. Francis Colon went 3-for-3 with a double and homer and scored four runs.
   Southern 9, Lamberton 5: Mark Riso fanned eight and Ralph Digneo had a two-run triple.
   Penn 12, Dobbins 6: John Moore allowed four hits and struck out 14. He also had two hits, three RBI. Antonio Ortiz had a two-run triple.
CATHOLIC LEAGUE
   Roman 12, West 2: Pete Doyle fanned 10 in a two-hitter. Joe DiGiovanni had a triple among three hits. Anthony Capella also tripled.

APRIL 9
CATHOLIC LEAGUE
   Judge 3, Ryan 2: Paul Koenig pitched a three-hitter with eight strikeouts and Steve Ricci had the decisive RBI single. Ryan's Tom Dolan allowed five hits and doubled.
   McDevitt 9, Wood 3 (9 inn.): Andrew Kovach slammed a two-run homer to highlight a six-run visiting ninth. Robert Dougherty won in relief.
   Dougherty 10, North 9 (8 inn): Tom Kee went 3-for-5 with an RBI and got the winning run home with a single-error combo. Ed "The Terminator" Hilbert had two doubles, two RBI. Dustin Overturf went 3-for-4 with an RBI.
   La Salle 6, Conwell-Egan 1: John Reifsnyder pitched a two-hitter. Pat Riley went 3-for-3 with two triples and three RBI while Chris Ladley went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
   Carroll 3, Bonner 1: Mike Costanzo fanned eight in a three-hitter and John Gardner ended it with a two-run homer in the home seventh. Bonner's Paul Kollhoff homered.
   Kennedy-Kenrick 10, O'Hara 9: Sean McManus got the win and drove in the decisive run with a fielder's choice.
   SJ Prep 9, Neumann 4: Eric Smith went 2-for-4 with three RBI and Kevin Walker homered. Vince Defedelto had a three-run homer for Neumann.
INTER-AC LEAGUE
   Episcopal 6, Gtn. Academy 5: Doubles by John Dobbins and Joe Rosati started Episcopal's four-run sixth. Dan Williams homered. GA's Kevin Gordon homered.
   Haver. School 8, Penn Charter 6 (8 inn.): Mike Vail went the distance and won it with an RBI triple in the visiting eighth. PC's Aaron Greenfield had a double and a two-run homer in the seventh.
   Malvern 2, Chestnut Hill 1 (10 inn.): Steve Burns fanned 11 in the first nine innings. He also scored the tying run in the home ninth and drove in the game-winner in the 10th. CH's Spencer Smith went 9.1 innings.
PUBLIC LEAGUE
   Central 1, Roxborough 0: Noah White, a senior lefthander, pitched a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts and no walks to outduel Mike Gibbs (four-hitter, 10 strikeouts). White scored a first-inning run as Steve Hopkins hit into a fielder's choice.
   Franklin LC 17, Germantown 10: Cody Worthy fanned 14 in six innings and Terrell Harris went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Germantown's Akil Stokes went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a triple.

APRIL 10
CATHOLIC LEAGUE
   Conwell-Egan 5, Dougherty 4 (8 inn): Matt Fisher stroked an RBI triple and scored on an overthrow in the home seventh. Nick Costello's RBI double won it for Gary Stricker (three innings) in the eighth. Vince Salvatore went 3-for-3 with a walk and an RBI.
PUBLIC LEAGUE
   Southern 10, Gratz 0: Tyler Bowker pitched a three-hitter with nine strikeouts in the five-inning game.

APRIL 11
PUBLIC LEAGUE
   Frankford 9, Central 8: Adam Hartman's two-run double highlighted Frankford's five-run visiting sixth, providing a 9-6 lead. Carlos Rivera went 3-for-3 with two RBI. Central's Craig Gould doubled twice.
   Northeast 10, Washington 0: Ryan Zaztowney pitched a two-hitter and Kamil Harris spurred the offense out of the leadoff spot.
   Edison 14, Roxborough 11: Omar Castano rapped a two-run homer to support Mike Marquez (eight strikeouts). German Sanchez doubled twice.
   GAMP 10, Bartram 9: Nick DiVario went 2-for-3 with five RBI; his two-run single made it 9-9 in the home sixth. Dominic DeMarco scored on an error in the seventh. Anthony Caines allowed five hits. Bartram's Ian Greaves doubled twice.
   Olney 10, Furness 0: Daniel Martinez pitched a five-inning no-hitter. Michael Burgos had two RBI on three hits (two doubles) and Eddie Ortiz homered.
   Lincoln 5, Bok 2: Shane O'Connor struck out 12 and survived surrendering a homer to the first batter he faced (Cedric Green).
   Mastbaum 10, Eng. and Science 0: Johnny Marrero allowed two hits, fanned nine and had a grand slam en route to six RBI.
   Saul-Fels: Postponed to Tuesday.
   Kensington 16, Penn 6: Ricardo Feliciano and Josh Williams had two-run triples in an 11-run fourth to support Francis Colon.
   Gratz 12, Straw. Mansion 4: Johnny Torress pitched a four-hitter with eight strikeouts. Mike Bradley (four RBI) and Jerry Jones (two) paced the offense.
   Franklin LC 15, Univ. City 2: Anthony Bove pitched a five-inning two-hitter in his first start and went 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI.
   King 4, Overbrook 3: Roy Owens pitched a five-hitter with 16 strikeouts to outduel James Clark (three, 11). David Walcott drove in a run to make it 4-2 in the fourth.
   West 17, Franklin 7: Terrell Roper had two doubles en route to five RBI. William Ortiz fanned 10. Franklin's Ray Colon doubled twice.
   Southern 6, Germantown 5: Winner Mike Campbell (seven Ks in three innings) and Anthony Desesso had RBI singles and Mark Riso had a two-run single.
CATHOLIC LEAGUE
   La Salle 13, McDevitt 4: Dan Waters fanned eight in six innings and doubled en route to two RBI. Mark D'Angelo went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI.
   North 5, Judge 3: Keith White pitched a five-hitter and drew a bases-loaded walk in a four-run home sixth. Brian Wehrman added an RBI single.
   Wood 15, Ryan 2: Dan Mueller went five innings for the win and had three RBI. Michael Sheerin and Travis Roth both had two hits, two RBI.
   Roman 6, Bonner 3: Pat Trunfio's three-run homer broke a 3-3 tie in the visiting seventh. Jerry Reed and Dennis DiGiovanni had solo homers and Matt Daley fanned nine.
  O'Hara 14, West 0: Mark Barrar fanned eight in four innings. Brian Campbell went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a triple and five RBI. Fran Burbidge had a double and triple for three RBI.
   Carroll 8, Neumann 0: Frank Gailey pitched a five-hitter with 12 strikeouts and Mike Costanzo homered. John Gardner had a double while going 3-for-4.
   Kennedy-Kenrick 15, SJ Prep 5: Chris Lubanski allowed no earned runs in six innings. Dan Rafferty had two homers, four RBI. Joe Zazworskey had a three-run homer to break a 4-4 tie. Mike Romano also homered. Prep's Kevin Walker had a grand slam.

APRIL 15

   Central 10, Bartram 5: Ryan Meyer and Mike Kane split six RBI and Noah White struck out 12 in six innings.
   Roxborough 8, GAMP 0: Mike Gibbs pitched a one-hitter with 16 strikeouts and went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer and four RBI. Chuck Richardson also homered.
   Northeast 12, Edison 2: Ari Bluestein got the win.
   Frankford 10, Washington 3: Joe Farina got the win and Ambioris Puntier went 2-for-2 with three RBI.
   Bok 8, Saul 0: Justin Lannutti, a junior righthander, pitched a no-hitter with 18 strikeouts and three walks and went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Cedric Green had a two-run homer.
   Lincoln 13, Olney 5: Tim Szychulski allowed five hits, fanned 10 and stroked a solo homer. Mike Hearn went 4-for-5 with a double, two triples and four RBI. Steve Gallo went 3-for-5 with a double and triple.
   Mastbaum 5, Furness 2: Wilson Ribot doubled and tripled in addition to stroking a two-run homer.
   Fels 6, Eng. and Science 1: Steven Barnes fanned 12 in a one-hitter and Reggie Timothy had the first RBI in a six-run home sixth.
   Overbrook 4, Penn 2: James Clark fanned 10, allowed seven hits and had an RBI single. Kristian Clarkson had a run-scoring double.
   Kensington 19, Univ. City 9: Josh Williams got the win.
   Germantown 12, Franklin 2: Mike Fulton's grand slam made Haneef Hill a winner. Franklin's Mike Hinnant had a two-run homer.
   Franklin LC 19, Dobbins 2: The Bobcats batted around twice in a 16-run first inning as Terrell Harris and Bill Griffiths both had two hits and scored twice. Cody Worthy fanned eight in five innings.
   Gratz 13, West 12: Kazeem Sanders struck out 12 in six-plus innings and John Torres added three more punchouts in the home seventh after West scored three runs. Mike Bradley had a three-run homer. Donald Curtis went 5-for-5 with a double, triple and three RBI. Terrell Roper and Maurice Polen homered for West.
   Lamberton 10, Straw. Mansion 0: Robert Harvey pitched a five-inning two-hitter and Dennis Gainer had a two-run triple en route to three RBI.

   Con.-Egan 6, Ryan 5: Reliever Gary Stricker fanned five in three innings and scored C-E's sixth run on Jim Coon's sacrifice fly.
   Wood 9, Dougherty 5: Pinch-hitter Mike Sheerin, batting for the second time in the inning, cracked a two-run triple to cap a seven-run visiting seventh. Winner Matt O'Connor had a two-run single.
   Neumann 6, West 0: Michael Clancy fanned 16 in a two-hitter and James Porreca had two solo homers.
   SJ Prep 2, Roman 0: Eric Smith fanned 10 in 6.1 innings and received support in the form of solo homers from Tom Noonan and Tom Kuklinski.
   Carroll 8, O'Hara 5: Anthony Altomare, John Gardner and Mike Costanzo had two-run homers. Dave Omlor had a solo homer. Fran Burbidge and Bob Altman had solo homers for O'Hara.
   Kennedy-Kenrick 6, Bonner 3: Joe Zazworskey pitched a five-hitter with eight strikeouts and Chris Lubanski went 3-for-3 with a double, triple and an RBI. Paul Cashin had a two-run homer for Bonner.

APRIL 16
INTER-AC LEAGUE
   Penn Charter 5, Malvern 4: Gerry Sasse went the distance and Aaron Greenfield went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
   Episcopal 1, Chestnut Hill 0: Jason Brown scattered six hits to outduel Spencer Smith (four-hitter). In the home fourth, Tucker Heckscher's single brought in Ted Oberwager.
   Gtn. Academy 5, Haverford School 4: Kevin Gordon stroked an RBI single in the home seventh to make reliever Pete Vernon a winner.
PUBLIC LEAGUE
   Dobbins 13, Lamberton 12: Tyrone Barringer had the game-winning RBI single in the home seventh. William Walter (five RBI) and Bryant Daniels (four) poled homers.
   Washington 8, GAMP 7: Dennis Massott went 3-for-5 with a double, homer and three RBI. Massott's double scored Brian Morgan and capped a three-run home seventh. Winner Rob Ritterson fanned six in four innings. For GAMP, Andrew Scafetta homered and doubled twice while Nick DiVario also homered.
   Fels 4, Saul 2: Michael Raimo fanned 13 in a six-hitter and Steve Barnes rapped a two-run double to break a 2-2 tie.
CATHOLIC LEAGUE
   Roman 8, Wood 2: Winner Pete Doyle went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI and Rob Medlock homered.

APRIL 17
CATHOLIC LEAGUE
   Judge 6, Neumann 1: Dale Curry had a three-run double, Paul Koenig doubled twice and Dan Graf went 3-for-4 and scored three runs to make John Keller a winner.
   McDevitt 8, West 1: Doug Gerrit went 2-for-4 with a triple, solo homer and two RBI and Chuck McLaughlin pitched a six-hitter.
   La Salle 4, O'Hara 3: Tony Liberatore slammed a two-run homer in the visiting sixth to provide the final score. Dan Waters allowed eight hits, fanned seven. Colin Smith homered for O'Hara.
   SJ Prep 16, North 4: Eric Smith went 5-for-5 with a two-run homer and five RBI. Prep had 13 runs in the home sixth. Pete Chromiak went 4-for-4 with two RBI and four runs scored. Mike Muth went the last three innings to earn the win.
   Carroll 10, Ryan 9: Mike Costanzo (two) and winner Dave Omlor slammed homers for Carroll. John Gardner doubled twice. Ryan scored three in the visiting seventh, then Omlor got the last two outs to freeze the tying run at third.
   Bonner 10, Dougherty 9: Frank Nunan doubled twice and Paul McNichol won in relief as the Friars scored twice in the home seventh. Mike Shalon had a key RBI single.
   Conwell-Egan 8, Kennedy-Kenrick 7: Matt Fischer lashed a two-run single in the visiting seventh to break a 6-6 tie and CF Tim Carroll made a spectacular game-saving catch to end it. Gary Stricker saved Mike Kane's win.
PUBLIC LEAGUE
   Kensington 12, Franklin 2: Jorge Domenech hit a three-run homer.

APRIL 18
PUBLIC LEAGUE
   Central 8, GAMP 7: The Lancers scored two in the home sixth to make Noah White a winner in relief (two-thirds of an inning). GAMP scored six in the top half. Mike Kane had two hits and scored three runs. Lightning halted the game in the seventh.
   Frankford 10, Roxborough 0: Dave Firth fanned seven in four innings and had two doubles en route to three RBI. Jason McCune had a two-run homer.
   Northeast 10, Bartram 6: Ken Wlodarczyk slammed a two-run homer and saved the win for Ryan Zaztowney.
   Washington 10, Edison 0: Rob Ritterson pitched a five-inning one-hitter with six strikeouts. Matt Kane (three RBI) and Dennis Massott (three hits) paced the attack.
