The Albert C. Donofrio Classic, a single-elimination tournament played at The Fellowship House of Conshohocken, features most of the best high school players in the Philadelphia-South Jersey area, and often draws players from as far away as North Jersey and New York.
The Fellowship House is located at 5th and Harry Streets. (Harry is one block off of Fayette Street, the main street in Conshohocken. If you enter Conshy from the Schuylkill Expressway/Blue Route side by going across the big bridge, you will be on Fayette Street. Go to 5th and make a right. The Fellowship House is one block down on the left-hand side.) The phone number is 610-828-3266. Director Floyd Shaffer and his tournament staff are always helpful and cooperative.

Sonny Hill Sophomores 74, Pizza Time Saloon 60: Wade Ellington had 16 points and Anthony Morrison (U. City) added 12 for the winners. Boris Meno had 11 for Pizza Time Saloon.
Shaffer Builders 91, Don Len Trophies 78: Princeton Davis had 19 points and five steals and Matt Fabia collected 17 points and 12 rebounds for Shaffer. Coursey Magnus had 11 points for Don Len.
Great American Pub 77, Triple Crown Academy 72: Shane Clark (20 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists), DeSean White (19 points), Kyle Lowry (12 points, 5 steals) and John Griffin (12 points, 5 assists) led GAP. Mike Springman (16 points, 10 rebounds), Richard Cunningham (7 assists), Rob Fusaro (12 points) and Adon El (11 points, 7 rebounds) led TCA.
James Fox 94, Continental Refrigerator 81: Ben Luber had 22 points and 8 assists and Herb Courtney added 19 points and 19
rebounds to lead James Fox. Tom Keenan and David Good (13 rebounds) each scored 15 points for the Fridge.
Positive Image 73, Championship Sports 68: Shannon Easley (17 points, 15 rebounds), Darnell Johnson (11 points) and London Houston (10 points, 13 rebounds) led PI. Tramayne Hawthorne scored 25 for Championship Sports.
Conshy Express 96, Del-Val Wildcats 81: Will Sheridan (22 points, 11 rebounds), Rob Kurz (22 points, 16 rebounds), Sean Singletary (17 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists) and Mark Zoller (18 points, 11 rebounds) led the Express. Billy Lucas scored 17 for the Wildcats.

Waterview 103, Great American Pub 100: Troy Roundtree had 27 points and 11 rebounds and Omar Johnson added 20 points and eight assists for the winners. Charron Fisher had 25 points and 13 boards, John Griffin 23 points, five assists and DeSean White 21 points, nine rebounds for GAP.
Roadrunners 78, Sonny Hill Sophomores 68: John Hines had 21 for the victors. Wayne Ellington (25 points, nine rebounds) paced SHS.
Del-Val Airborne 95, Shaffer Builders 84: Charles Jones (Bartram) had 29 points and 13 rebounds, Antwain Wynn (Neumann) had 18 points and Jason Cain (Bartram) collected 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winners.
James Fox 108, Bucks County 80: Dan Lepone (Abington Friends) had 20 points, Ben Luber added 19 and Herbert Courtney collected 14 points, 18 rebounds and five blocks for James Fox. Kerry Kenny led Bucks with 18 points.
Positive Image 73, Hunting Park 70 (ot): Quincy Marshall (11 points, 4 assists) made a three-pointer and hit the resulting foul shot with five seconds left in overtime to win it. First cousin Wayne Marshall (who did not play after injuring his ankle with 14 seconds left in regulation) scored 19 points on 9-for-12 shooting. John Owens added 14 points and 5 assists. Mustafa Shakur (22 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 9 steals) and Mike Green (15 points) led Hunting Park.
Conshy Express 100, Del-Val Toros 71: Rob Kurz (27 points on 13-for-15 shooting), Sean Singletary (17 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists) and Will Sheridan (16 points, 13 rebounds) led the Express. Antoine Brown scored 21 points and Amarildo Matos added 15 for the Toros.
Sonny Hill Juniors 80, Waterview 76: Jason Hickenbottom had 23 points and 11 rebounds, Matt Walden had 13 points
and 4 blocked shots and Tyrone Smith dished 5 assists to lead the Juniors. Omar Johnson (26 points, 7 steals) and Troy Roundtree (15 points) led Waterview.
James Fox 110, Lancaster/Lebanon 103: Ben Luber had 34 points and 6 assists, Kevin Oleksiak (7-for-8 on treys) poured in 25
points and Herb Courtney added 21 points. Roger Castlegrande led L/L with 28 points.
Positive Image 70, Del-Val Airborne 62: Wayne Marshall collected 15 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks and Quincy Marshall added 15 to lead the winners. Charles Jones had 18 and Khalil Abdus-Salaam had 13 points and 10 rebounds for Del-Val.
N.J. Roadrunners won by forfeit over Conshy Express (player shortage).
Positive Image 57, Sonny Hill Juniors 54: Darnell Johnson (Central) hit the game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer and finished with a team-high 14 points. Wayne Marshall (King) added 13 points and 10 rebounds. Jason Hickenbottom led the Juniors with 15.
James Fox 96, Roadrunners 94: Herbert Courtney collected 29 points and 16 rebounds and Ben Luber chipped in 26 points and 11 assists for Fox. John Hurt (24 points, 10 rebounds) and Jeff McSwain (22 points) paced the Roadrunners.
Positive Image 66, James Fox 63: Darnell Johnson capped a 19-point performance with two clinching free throws. Wayne Marshall had 24 points and 13 first-half rebounds. PI roared to a 27-10 lead before JF crept back behind Ben Luber (20) and Herb Courtney (15).
