Contests for fans, great prize
giveaways from radio sponsor Power 99, and cheerleaders and dance teams from
local schools will add to the excitement. Admission is free for students/kids,
$5 for adults – it’s a fun afternoon of great basketball for a great cause!
In its 21st year, the All
Star Labor Classic provides vital financial support for UCP programs
available to children and adults with disabilities living in our community.
United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Philadelphia & Vicinity is a
nonprofit organization dedicated to positively affecting the quality of life for
children and adults with disabilities through a variety of social, vocational,
residential, recreational, therapeutic and educational services. All programs
are designed to foster a sense of personal achievement and independence for
everyone and every family we serve.

Thanks to strong support from
Philadelphia’s Organized Labor community, the 21st annual All Star Labor
Classic high school basketball tournament raised a record amount --- more than
$150,000 --- for United
Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia & Vicinity. Pictured presenting the ceremonial
