On 9/3, a 24-0 win over Olney snapped a 13-game losing streak.
On 9/23, a 6-0 win over Franklin set a school record
for consecutive shutouts, with four! This is the program's
77th PL season. Shutouts Nos. 5 and 6 on the season
came on 10/15 vs. Southern and 10/22 vs. U. City.
On 10/29, the Panthers earned a chance at post-season
action for the first time in the program's 77-year PL
history!!! (They were playing a non-league game with
Imhotep Charter. The outcome of the Bartram-Franklin
game sealed the deal.)
On 11/25, the Panthers beat West Phila., 12-0, to finish
9-3 and break the school record for wins in a season
(8-1-1 in 1964). The shutout was their eighth.
