nominations because sometimes the winner will be announced in quick order. Players are
limited to one win per MONTH. We will NOT post e-mails concerning the selections.

PL -- Dawud Morris, Straw. Mansion, sr.
Shot 7-for-11 for 15 points, grabbed six rebounds and notched
five blocks as the Knights bested Northeast, 73-62, for the title.
CL -- Chris Del Brocco, Neumann, sr.
Shot 6-for-10 on treys en route to 20 points and dished three assists
as the Pirates dumped Ryan, 66-53, for the title.

Brendan O'Malley, Ryan, sr.
Shot 8-for-12 en route to 20 points and hit the decisive
field goal despite being triple-teamed as the Raiders edged SJ Prep, 53-49, in OT, in a CL
semifinal, making the title game for the first time since 1979.

Richard "Tabby" Cunningham, Neumann, soph
Collected 21 points (4-for-4 on treys), 4 assists and 4
steals as the Pirates swooshed past Dougherty, 74-60, in a CL semifinal.
March 3
Kyle Lowry, Northeast, soph
Poured in 29 points, shooting 9-for-14 (three treys) and
8-for-13, as the Vikings outlasted Central, 76-72, in a PL semifinal. Added two assists
and three steals.
March 2
Adon El, Neumann, soph
Came close to a triple-double with 18 points, 12 rebounds and
eight blocks as the Pirates downed Carroll, 56-43, completing a 3-0 sweep of the
first-place Patriots.
March 1
Chris Clark, SJ Prep, soph
Collected 24 points, four assists and three steals and
committed just one turnover as the Hawks bested Bonner, 66-46, for their first postseason
win since 1978.
Feb. 26
Sharif Bray, Central, sr.
Totaled 24 points (four treys), three assists and four steals
as Central bested Overbrook, 58-56, on the strength of a 17-7 fourth quarter, advancing to
the PL semis for only the second time since 1965.

Mike Springman, Carroll, soph
Had 19 points (13-for-13 at line) and 8 rebounds and played
strong defense as the Patriots clinched first in CL South by winning at Roman, 74-68.

Khalif Leek, Central, sr.
Had 18 points, nine rebounds and three assists, and hit two
consecutive treys to break a 40-40 tie, as the Lancers bested Roxborough, 53-43, in a PL
round-of-16 playoff.

Curtis Bryant, West Catholic, jr.
Had 14 points, 11 assists and no turnovers as the Burrs dumped O'Hara,
66-58.

Friars dealt Roman Catholic only its third homecourt loss in 14 seasons, 63-52.

Scored 18 points as the Patriots bested Chestnut Hill
Academy, 67-33, to finish 10-0 in league play for the third consecutive year. Bested
