   Randy Seidman is a constant at Washington games and has compiled a list of Philly Guys playing college baseball. We appreciate his incredible hustle!! Randy graduated from Washington, which his two sons have also attended. Randy is an award-winning producer of televised sporting events and now works for CN8, in addition to doing free-lance work for major networks and The News Gleaner. His career highlight -- producing games, on back-to-back days, when Julius Erving scored his 30,000th point and Mike Schmidt slammed his 500th homer. He may be reached at rseidman9@aol.com.

HOMETOWN PHILLY AWARDS RETURN FOR SECOND SEASON
Former Catholic, Inter-Ac and Public League baseball players have panned out across the country to play college baseball. Once again, they will be recognized for their achievements on the field this spring, with the HOMETOWN PHILLY PLAYER & ROOKIE OF THE WEEK honors. Standout individual and team performances will also be noted, along with the usual hodge-podge of baseball statistical info. Please send any mistakes or omissions to rseidman9@aol.com  Comments are always welcome! Of course, in our area, college baseball players rarely get the coverage of their basketball and football counterparts, so this is at least a start.
