  In his first game for Ryan after transferring from Judge,
Samir Bullock crushed the school record for rushing
yardage. In a 37-20 win over O'Hara, he had 345 yards
-- Mike Erbrick had 248 in 1990. He also accounted for
99.7 percent of Ryan's 346 scrimmage yards. Mark
Ostaszewski passed for 1 yard.

  On Thanksgiving vs. Washington, Bullock became the
11th player in city history to finish the season with at
least 2,000 rushing yards (2,055).

  After missing out on a playoff berth, the Raiders topped
teams that won the state's AAA title (Wood) and AAAA title
(SJ Prep), as well as the Pub's AAAA runner-up (Washington).
