    La Salle 8, Wood 2: John Reifsnyder went six innings for the win and Ernie Burrell had two RBI. Sean Oliver homered for Wood.
    Judge 12, McDevitt 0: Eric Ruhland pitched a four-hitter with six strikeouts and went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Kirk Bucholski had a three-run double.
    Roman 8, SJ Prep 2: Pat Trunfio allowed seven hits and fanned 11. Rob Drozdowski went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI and twin John went 3-for-3 with an RBI.

    Judge 6, Conwell-Egan 2: Paul Koenig went five innings for the win. Matt Ricci finished up. John Horcher went 3-for-3 with two RBI.
    Roman 5, Neumann 4: Freshman Matt Daly went 5<SC1,234> innings for the win, striking out seven. Chris Young got the save. Matt Krimm and Rob Drozdowski had RBI doubles and John Drozdowski had a two-run triple.
   La Salle 11, Ryan 5: Bryan Harvey allowed seven hits and two earned runs. Chris Jeffers went 2-for-4 with four RBI. John Reifsnyder added three hits and an RBI.
    SJ Prep 13, Carroll 8: John Maher went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and winner Andrew Gambone went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI. Pete Chromiak tripled twice. Ted Piotrowicz (grand slam) and Marty Higgins (two-run) homered for Carroll.

Catholic League
    Carroll 11, Bonner 9: Mike Costanzo (solo) and Marty Higgins (two-run) hit homers in a three-run sixth to erase a 9-8 deficit. Ted Piotrowicz and Mick Hannan had back-to-back solo homers in the fourth. Mike Kitzinger homered twice for Bonner.
    Ryan 3, North 2: John Price lashed an RBI single in the home seventh to score Jerry Rogers, who walked and advanced on a wild pitch. Chris Kloepher allowed three hits in 6 2/3 innings and fanned nine. Greg Sailor got the win. North's Mike Anderson allowed four hits.
    Dougherty 3, Conwell-Egan 1: Leo Hofmann allowed four hits in six innings, Dustin Overturf got the save and Bryan Payne had a three-run double with two out in the second.
    Kennedy-Kenrick 6, West 1: Nick Sacony's fourth inning grand slam made Matt Johnson a winner.
    O'Hara 8, Neumann 7: Mike Lomas saved Ed Partridge's win and Ken Grand had a two-run double. Neumann's Bob Houck and Fred Spitz had two-run doubles.

    Ryan 8, Dougherty 0: Senior righthander John Price pitched a perfect game with 13 strikeouts and Kevin Fitzpatrick and Andy MacDonald made defensive gems.
    North 7, La Salle 0: Ed Slavin pitched a one-hitter (first batter of game) and Mike Anderson went 4-for-4 with a double, triple and one RBI. Mike Gallagher went 2-for-3.
    Judge 5, Wood 3: Eric Ruhland went 5<SC1,235> innings and hit a solo homer. Kirk Bucholski had a two-run homer.
    SJ Prep 8, Bonner 5: Tim Brown pitched the last five innings for the win while John Maher and Pete Chromiak had two-run homers and Andrew Gambone went solo. Ed Turner went 3-for-4 with a double.
    Roman 9, O’Hara 7 (8 inn.): Phil Terry fanned seven and went 2-for-4 with a double, triple and two RBI. John Drozdowski went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI and Ray Tierney won it with a two-run homer.
   Kennedy-Kenrick 5, Neumann 0: Andrew Bates pitched a one-hitter and Jason Rowinski’s RBI single keyed a three-run third.
    Conwell-Egan 12, McDevitt 2: Gary Stricker got the win. Vaughn Burns and Tom Terry both had two hits, one RBI.

INTER-AC LEAGUE
   Penn Charter 3, Haverford School 1:
Matt Carroll pitched a five-hitter and drove in a run as PC dropped the Fords into a title tie with Episcopal at 7-3.

   Episcopal 4, Gtn. Academy 0: Justin DiLucchio pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts and Jack Meyers went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBI.
Catholic League
    Dougherty 6, North 3 (8 inn.): Justin Overturf went three innings in relief for the win. In a four-run visiting eighth, Bryan Payne and Paul DiSantis had RBI singles and Tom Hofmann had a two-run double.

    Carroll 3, West 2: Gerard Oakes allowed one hit through 6 1/3 innings as the Patriots clinched the South title. Mike Costanzo hit a two-run homer to provide a 3-0 lead.

    Ryan 4, Judge 0: Chris Kloepher pitched a five-hitter with eight strikeouts. Andy MacDonald (two RBI), Neal Regan and Kevin Fitzpatrick (one RBI each) all went 2-for-3.
    West 4, Roman 1: Sean Brennan allowed seven hits, fanned nine and went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

    North 11, McDevitt 2: Dan Szychulski went six innings for the win and went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer and four RBI. Mike Anderson also had a three-run homer.

    Haverford School 10, Malvern 9: The Fords clinched a title for the title by drawing four consecutive, two-out walks in the home seventh after Malvern scored three in the top half.
    Chestnut Hill 5, Gtn. Academy 3: Rich Repetto’s two-run triple and Matt Davis’s RBI single keyed a three-run fourth. Eric Vacca saved Andrew Malcolm’s win.

    Washington 14, Frankford 0: Brett Merves pitched a five-inning one-hitter with six strikeouts as the Eagles claimed the Division A title. He also had a grand slam and an RBI double.
   Penn 15, Franklin LC 6: Ronald Shipman got the win and doubled.
    Overbrook 8, Fels 7: A two-run single by Jeremiah Speakes and RBI single by Chris Wallace gave ‘Brook a three-run home seventh. Andre Andrews went 4-for-4 with three doubles and four steals.
    Central 12, Edison 3: Ian Cohen got the win.
    Southern 11, Audenried 1: Eugene Masci fanned nine in a three-hitter and James Harris had a solo homer.
    Mansion 5, Dobbins 1: Bruce Fife allowed three hits, fanned 15. Gary Hodges went 2-for-3 with a triple.
    Bok 12, Furness 9: Shawn Jeter went 4-for-4 with a grand slam and six RBI. Ron Kenney and Rodney Ray also homered.
    West 15, Univ. City 4: Robert Attaway struck out eight. Nosakhere Griffin-El homered for UC.
    Germantown 17, Lamberton 9: Mike Fulton got the win and Keyon Mallory had two doubles.
   Roxborough 13, Mastbaum 12: Winner Mike Gibbs slugged a grand slam and Pat Olsen had the game-winning RBI in the visiting seventh.

   Lincoln 7, Olney 5: Brian Smith got the win and Miguel Morell homered.
    Northeast 8, GAMP 5: Nick Kluge got the win.
    Saul 9, Franklin 2: Steve McDowell pitched a four-hitter with 11 strikeouts and had a two-run homer as Saul claimed the Division C title. Gary Taylor and Mike Jones added two hits apiece.

    SJ Prep 5, Conwell-Egan 1: Andrew Gambone pitched a two-hitter with seven strikeouts. Ed Turner (two hits, double, two RBI) and Mike Lista (two RBI) led the offense.
    Carroll 24, McDevitt 3: Mike Costanzo went 4-for-5 with two homers and seven RBI. Ted Piotrowicz had a grand slam. Carroll hit seven homers. Gerard Oakes fanned 15 in a six-hitter.
    Neumann 5, Judge 4 (8 inn.): Chris Renzi went 2-for-4 and had a two-run single in the home eighth to win it. Winner Tony Meccariello went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
    West 7, Dougherty 3: Brian McGrath allowed six hits and Matt Rizzo went 3-for-4 with three steals and an RBI. Sean Hackett also went 3-for-4 with an RBI.
    Roman 14, Wood 13 (9 inn.): Roman scored three in the home ninth on Anthony Dabrowski’s two-run homer (he had a three-run blast in a four-run seventh) and an RBI single by winning reliever Chris Young (he had a solo homer in the seventh). Matt Krimm also homered for Roman. Matt Lafferty had a three-run shot for Wood.
    La Salle 12, Kennedy-Kenrick 7: Ernie Barile went 3-for-4 with three RBI and Matt Michel went 2-for-4 with a triple and four RBI.
   Ryan 8, Bonner 2: John Price fanned nine in five innings and had a two-run homer. Kevin Hamburg had two homers for three RBI. Neal Regan went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI. Bonner’s Dan Auld homered.
    O’Hara 6, North 3: Ted Rydesky went 2-for-3 with an RBI and saved Mike Lomas’s win. Dave Gabel and Steve Simmons homered for North.

   Penn 13, Lamberton 3: McKinley Brockington went 4-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and four runs scored, while winning pitcher Ron Shipman struck out 13 in six innings.
Inter-Ac League
   Malvern 6, Gtn. Academy 2: D.J. Mastronardo singled, doubled and hit a two-run homer for three RBI. Tim Sheehan poked three hits and scored three runs.
    Penn Charter 3, Chestnut Hill 2: Rick Baum hit a two-run homer in the first inning, and Rich Hyland doubled in the winning run in the fourth.
    Episcopal 14, Haverford School 4: Adam Murray hit three homers for five RBI, Kyle Eckel belted two home runs for six RBI, and Doug Hitchner had a homer and three RBI.

    Bartram 11, Roxborough 8:
Working on two days’ rest, senior righthander Steve Guida toughed his way through an eight-hitter and struck out five as the Braves clinched the Division B title. Bryan Hines went 3-for-4 with a walk and two RBI and Kelvin Rawlinson went 2-for-4 with a double. Mike Gibbs homered for Roxborough, which committed 12 errors.
    Saul 10, Gratz 0: Mike Jones (three innings) and Bill Clark combined on a five-inning no-hitter and Steve McDowell went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
    Washington 6, GAMP 5: Harry Ley homered and scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh by stealing home when GAMP tried a fake-to-third, throw-to-first pickoff and the runner on first was caught in a rundown. Keith Horwitz earned the
win.
    Dobbins 14, West 2: Terrance Brunson pitched a five-inning no-hitter with 12 strikeouts and Anthony McFarland homered.
    Southern 5, Franklin LC 4: Eugene Masci pitched a four-hitter with 10 strikeouts. Jim Versace and Masci had RBI singles in a two-run home seventh. FLC’s Eric Rossiter fanned 15.
    Overbrook 18, Furness 8: Vincent Curtis went 3-for-3 with two doubles and six RBI to make Matt McDaniel a winner.
    Franklin 8, Univ. City 5: Steve Myers allowed five hits, fanned 10. UC’s Eric White went 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBI.
    Kensington 11, Penn 0: Jim Slavin pitched a five-inning no-hitter with 13 strikeouts and went 2-for-3 with a triple and five RBI. Carlos Munoz went 3-for-3 with two RBI.
    Mansion 13, Germantown 3: Bruce Fife fanned eight in five innings while Gary Hodges homered and Malik Outlaw and Dwayne Franks split four hits, six RBI.

    Lamberton 5, King 4: Antonio Thompson had an RBI single in the home sixth to break a 4-4 tie, score Anthony Washington and make Kyle Shuebrook a winner. King’s Chris Thompson went 3-for-4 with a triple.

    Judge 11, North 10: North scored three in the visiting seventh, Judge answered with four. Winner Kirk Bucholski capped the winning rally with a two-run single. Dennis Klinger went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and four RBI.
    Carroll 9, Neumann 0: John Zamichieli pitched a five-hitter with seven strikeouts and Marty Higgins homered twice.
    Ryan 6, McDevitt 5: John Price went the first five innings and then pitched the seventh, finishing with 12 strikeouts. Kevin Hamburg and Mike Canelli split four hits, four RBI.

Randy Milia hit a three-run homer in the home fifth to create an 8-8 tie and Ryan McMahon won it with a three-run homer in the seventh. Mike Kitzinger went 3-for-4 with two doubles and Dan Auld went 2-for-3 with two RBI. John Drozdowski doubled twice for Roman.

   Northeast 11, Olney 1: Chris Hymes went 4-for-4 with three doubles.
   Dobbins 10, Univ. City 0: Anthony McFarland pitched a five-inning one-hitter with 12 strikeouts and led off the home first with a homer.
    Frankford 13, Central 3: Ed Durfor fanned nine in the five-inning game and Joe Manini hit a three-run homer to end it. Steve Jones went 3-for-3 with two doubles.

    Haverford School 8, Chestnut Hill 2: Chris Burling had two homers, three RBI. Andrew Hoffman also homered. Mike Vail got the win. For CH, Rich Repetto and Tony Breslau homered.

    Saul 16, King 6: Dan Gadlewski’s two-run triple and Bill Clark’s two-run double helped Mike Jones win. King’s Chris Thompson homered.
   Washington 13, Olney 3: Dan Spitzberg went 3-for-4 with a double, triple and three RBI. Ivan Kosty added two hits, two RBI.

   Judge 9, O'Hara 1: Matt Evanitsky went six innings for the win and Bill Reilly went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI.
   SJ Prep 20, McDevitt 4: Andrew Gambone struck out seven in six innings and went 3-for-4 with two doubles and five RBI. Mike Lista and John Maher each had two hits, three RBI.
    Wood 5, Carroll 4: Mark Roth allowed six hits and seven walks, but his mates played errorless ball. In the home seventh, John Harrison doubled and scored on an error to win it.
    Conwell-Egan 4, West 3: Gavin Beier allowed seven hits, fanned six. In a three-run home sixth, Tom Terry had an RBI double.

   Ryan 6, Dougherty 2: John Price went 3-for-3 with three RBI, including a two-run single in a four-run third inning, and also struck out 16 batters and walked none.
   Judge 3, Wood 2: Judge scored twice in the bottom of the seventh on Matt McKenna’s bases-loaded single.

Catholic League
   Judge 18, Dougherty 1: Kirk Bucholski pitched a six-hitter and allowed just two runners past second base while Dennis Klinger went 3-for-3 with a walk, double, homer and five RBI. Mark Dickson added two doubles for two RBI and Eric Ruhland had a two-run double.
    Wood 14, Ryan 7: Matt Lafferty had a three-run homer and winner Mark Roth had two doubles.

   Conwell-Egan 13, North 1: Gavin Beier pitched a four-hitter with 12 strikeouts and clubbed a two-run homer. Rich Casey went 2-for-4 with a double and grand slam for six RBI.
   La Salle 8, McDevitt 0: Brian Harvey fanned 10 in a three-hitter and retired 19 of the last 20 batters. Matt Michel had three hits. Kyle Elliott, Ryan Parfitt and Harvey had two apiece.
    West 9, O’Hara 8: The Burrs used a four-run vsiting seventh to erase an 8-5 deficit. Winner Sean Brennan lashed a three-run double, then scored on Mike D’Elia’s single. O’Hara’s Mike Lomas homered.
    Kennedy-Kenrick 7, Bonner 2: Charlie Polkowski pitched a three-hitter. Steve Ormand had a homer and three RBI. Mark Wagner had two hits, two RBI.
    Carroll 18, Roman 11: Winner Tom Gardner went 3-for-5 with a grand slam and five RBI. Mick Hannan added a double and solo homer.
    SJ Prep 5, Neumann 0: Andrew Gambone pitched a three-hitter with seven K’s and Ed Turner went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI.
Public League
    Germantown 10, Gratz 8: Keyon Mallory got the win with a five-hitter. Leon Taylor homered for Gratz, which left the bases loaded at game’s end.
    King 7, Dobbins 6 (8 inn): Loser T.J. Brunson pitched a two-hitter with 22 strikeouts (and 10 walks) and homered. The game ended when he was thrown out trying to steal third. Kyle Baker was the winning pitcher.
   GAMP 14, Lincoln 5: Mario Molatino got the win.

    Southern 7, Mansion 6: Loser Bruce Fife fanned 15.
    Frankford 8, Central 2: Ed Durfor got the win and went 3-for-4 with two doubles.
    Roxborough 20, Bok 16: Michael Gibbs (5-for-5) and Pat Olsen (4-for-5) had two doubles apiece to make Steve Furtak a winner. Bok’s Ron Kenney went 3-for-5 with a triple, two homers and five RBI.
   Penn 22, West 12: Ronald Shipman and Ramon Fernandez had four RBI each to make Angel Neco a winner.

    Mastbaum 13, Furness 3: Winner Mike Smith and Jason Gonzalez had two hits apiece. Antonio Parker had a two-run homer for Furness.
    Washington 19, Edison 9: Brett Merves got the win. Chris Drobish went 3-for-4 with a triple and four RBI. Harry Ley added two RBI.
    Lamberton 15, Audenried 5: Joe Burch pitched a five-inning three-hitter with seven strikeouts.

    Eng. and Science 11, Overbrook 8: Tim Ennis fanned 15 and doubled. No. 9 hitter Bob Schaffling went 4-for-4 with three RBI.
    Northeast 15, Olney 5: Divid Firth pitched a five-inning three-hitter and Chris Hynes had two hits, two RBI.

    U. City 4, Penn 3:
Nosakhere Griffin-El, who was 2-for-3 with seven stolen bases, tripled in the bottom of the seventh and scored the winning run. Bert Wilson homered for Penn.
    Kensington 8, Germantown 7: Jim Slavin homered and Kensington rallied with three runs in the seventh inning.

    Bok 13, Overbrook 3: John Hand went 5-for-6 with three doubles, a triple and four RBI to support Ralph Sheridan.

Catholic League
    Roman 17, McDevitt 7:
Tim Mahon knocked in six runs with three hits and Rob Drozdowski was 4-for-4 with a double and triple in a 16-hit attack.
   Carroll 17, Conwell-Egan 0: Gerard Oakes pitched a one-hitter, as C-E got a seventh-inning single by Mike Pinto. Marty Higgins was 5-for-5 with a double, two triples and five RBI.
   SJ Prep 10, Dougherty 0: John Maher had a single, double and triple for two RBI. Andrew Gambone drove in three runs and Matt Altomare fanned 10.
   La Salle 12, O'Hara 1: Chris Dougherty's three-run triple and Matt Michel's two doubles and three RBI powered La Salle.

   North 4, Neumann 3: In the home seventh, Steve Szychulski singled, advanced on an error and scored the winning run on a single by Steve Simmons (3-for-4).
    Wood 11, West 5: Mark Roth doubled twice for two RBI and Andrew Meister doubled in a run.

    Roxborough 12, Overbrook 10:
Winner Steve Horvat had two doubles, three RBI. Steve Furtak tripled and homered for three RBI.
    Bartram 14, Furness 3: Steve Guida fanned 13 while Bryan Hines donated a single, double, three RBI and two runs scored.
   Central 12, GAMP 8: Winner Brian Schuster slugged grand slams in the sixth and seventh innings.
    Washington 12, Olney 2: Harry Ley's third homer in two days accounted for three of his four RBI. Dan Spitzberg won.
    Franklin LC 11, Germantown 1: Eric Rossiter fanned 13 in six innings and went 3-for-4 with a double.
    Kensington 10, Dobbins 0: Winner Carlos Munoz (nine K's) and Jose Maldonado homered.
    Lamberton 16, West 6: Kyle Shuebrook had three hits, four RBI.
    Southern 8, Saul 7: Winner Eugene Masci (10 K's) stole home to tie the game in the home sixth and drove in the game-winner in the seventh.
    Frankford 11, Lincoln 8: Ed Durfor homered to make Tom DiBello a winner. Loser Miguel Morell tripled.

Keith Baker struck out nine in five innings, Michael Brown hit a grand slam and David Wheeler had a double and a three-run homer. Charles Rogers had a three-run homer for Audenried.
    Bok 12, Eng. and Science 2: John Hand notched seven strikeouts in four innings and doubled while Ron Kenney had a triple and three RBI.
   Washington 14, Northeast 8: Harry Ley went 5-for-5 with two homers and three RBI to make Brett Merves a winner. Rob Slobodian added a solo homer.

   Franklin 12, Gratz 1: Alan Thomas pitched a five-inning two-hitter with 11 strikeouts and went 3-for-4 with a double and a three-run homer.

    Frankford 10, GAMP 0: Ed Durfor struck out nine in five innings, allowed two hits and 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI. Mike Tritz went 2-for-3 with a triple and four RBI.
    Franklin 12, Lamberton 2: Steven Myers fanned 11 in six innings and went 4-for-4 with two runs scored. Alan Thomas went 4-for-4 with a three-run homer and four RBI. James Giddings went 3-for-3 and scored four times.
    Mansion 5, West 0: Bruce Fife pitched a one-hitter with 13 strikeouts and had two RBI.
    Edison 13, Olney 9: Joel Santiago won in relief with the help of a six-run sixth. Steve Rivera had two doubles. Olney's Ivan Colon had a grand slam.
    Saul 10, Audenried 0: Adam Yoder pitched a five-inning no-hitter and Gary Taylor went 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBI. Jon Ramos led off the game with a homer.
    Roxborough 3, Eng. and Science 2: Steve Furtak pitched a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts. Mike Gibbs had a two-run homer and scored the deciding run on Tom Johnson's fifth-inning single.
    Bartram 8, Mastbaum 5: Anthony Boyer fanned nine. Steve Guida went 2-for-2 with a double, triple and two RBI. Brian Hines also doubled and tripled.
    Fels 7, Furness 3: Steve Barnes struck out 11 and had a three-run homer. John Neal added a solo homer.
    Penn 13, Dobbins 3: Ronald Shipman pitched a four-hitter and went 3-for-3 with a triple, homer and two RBI. Bert Wilson added a double, homer and four RBI. Loser Sergio Black doubled and tripled.
    Franklin LC 6, King 2: Joe Morris pitched a four-hitter and had two hits. Cody Worthy had a two-run double in a three-run first.
    Central 6, Lincoln 2: Jeffrey Mihocko allowed five hits, fanned eight. Craig Kabrhel had two hits and scored twice. Kito Lord logged three steals.
    Southern 9, Univ. City 7: Eugene Masci entered the game in the second inning and struck out 17. James Harris doubled twice. UC's Jose Hernandez struck out 12 and had two hits.
