  On Nov. 12, Franklin's game with Fels was halted by darkness
with 3:21 left and Fels ahead, 48-46. That game was completed
Nov. 18 with Fels a 56-46 winner (on TD and conversions runs
by Terry "Dark" Brown). The game produced 102 points, tying
the record for games involving Public League teams. On the final
play, Fels' John Counts intercepted at the 1 and reached
Franklin's 14 before being tackled by QB Anwar "Huddy" Mathis
and RB Crusito Cruz. If Counts had scored, the overall city record
for total points (103 -- W. Catholic 55, Neumann 48 in a 2002 CL
playoff) would have been snapped.

  On 10/29 vs. UC, Anwar "Huddy" Mathis (198) and Willie Battle
(153) broke the school records for passing and receiving yards in
one game. The previous records, both from 1998  -- 181 by Dwayne
Lilley and 125 by Rodney Hicks. (We were originally given incorrect
info about No. 86's identity.)
