HUCK’S CITY TOP 15: (MARCH 8 – FINAL POLL)

1.       SJ Prep (25-3) Pasted CD by 23 for CL crown. I say no more! Backcourt of Griffin & Clark were just terrific.

2.       Penn Charter (21-7) Saved their best ball until end of season. Singletary is my City Player of the Year.

3.      Simon Gratz (25-3) Conquers PUB yet again! Tyndale was simply amazing over the last month of play.

4.      Dougherty (24-5) Talented bunch, but Cardinal faithful have to feel a degree of disappointment.

5.      Neumann (19-8) Came up just short of reaching CL title game. Return some nice pieces next year.

6.      Roman (21-5) Ended CL season on sour note. Will try to make some noise in prestigious post-season tourney where Mr. Fisher ends a brilliant career.

7.      Germ. Acad. (24-8) With Grimes, Ayers, Ott, & Jones returning the Pats could be in for very promising season.

8.      Episcopal (22-6) Henderson, Eliington, Henderson, Ellington. Just get use to it! What a future these two have.

9.      Bartram (16-8) Twice narrowly came up short to eventual Pub champ Gratz. Was probably second best in Pub.

10.  LaSalle (19-8) How much of a run would they have given Prep with healthy Shattuck? A fine season for Explorers.

11.  West Catholic (17-9) Encouraging season despite losing five of last six. Taylor was one of city’s best!

12.  Malvern (17-12) The tremendous career of Brian Grandieri comes to an end. Friars were competitive night in and night out.
