Washington Township has a few team and individual marks in the record book:
Provided by Chuck Langerman . . .

1. In 2013, Washington Township defeated Clearview, 63-56, which is the second
  highest
point total (119 points) in a South Jersey game.
2. The late Tom Brown coached at Township and Paulsboro, winning 216 games

which is ninth all-time in South Jersey.
3. Quarterback Chris Maiden threw for 436 yards in a 2013 game. That's 11th
  all-time i
n South Jersey.
4. In 1993, running back Mike Koerner scored 200 points, which is tied for 22nd

in South Jersey history. On a trivia note, his father is Dr. Ted Koerner, a South
Jersey family practice doctor and a 1959 graduate of Cheltenham High School.
At one time he held both the school's single-game and season scoring records in
basketball. He played both basketball and baseball at Gettysburg College before
  pitching in the minor leagues.
