*Perry Canfield, a 1974 Penn Charter grad, passed away suddenly last fall at age 58. Perry's classmates, and those of his three older brothers (Bill, Rob and Howie), are working on a memorial that would capture Perry's fondness for sports and dedication to PC. *Football assistant and former player Thomas "June" Terry ('99) will be inducted into South Philadelphia High's Athletic Hall of Fame on Sunday, May 17, 1 to 5 p.m., at Adelphia Restaurant, in Deptford, NJ. Other inductees: Ralph Manfredi ('49, deceased), Tony Fabrizio ('52) and Fred Bavoso ('54).
 
*Roman Catholic's Sports Hall of Fame, now in its 25th year of existence, will holds its 2015 induction banquet on Friday, April 17, at Williamson's on Blair Mill Road, in Horsham, PA. The cocktail reception starts at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:45. *The commemorative book -- "La Salle College High School - 100 Years of Football History" -- has been released. It was written by 1969 grad Bill Wasylenko. Proceeds on book sales will benefit the school's Touchdown Club. The book is on sale at home games and can also be purchased on this eBay page. 
 
*The Sports Fan Base Network (SFBN) is streaming games in 2014. To watch the games, go to www.sportsfanbasenetwork.com and click the "Live and On Demand Events" link in the middle of the screen. Click on the selected game, then the video player will open up on your screen. The game can be viewed on any computer with Internet as well as some video capable smart phones, including but not limited to, iPhones.
