SOUTH JERSEY GROUP 1
SEMIFINAL
  Haddonfield 18, Florence 7:
There was “fun” before the game. Earlier in the week, Haddons coach Frank Panhuise asked permission to wear black uniforms. Florence said that couldn’t happen because they’d be wearing blue. Florence did so during warmups, then switched to yellow. No sweat. Haddonfield had brought along its black jerseys, suspecting there’d be some knuckleheadedness, and immediately switched. Then Brian Gallo put on quite the show, rushing 44 times for 280 yards and three TDs as the Haddons gave Florence its first loss. The linemen: Eric Wederbrand, Tim Chase, Pat Selfridge, Brian Dengler, Alex Creighton and Dave Gottardi. Florence’s Dave Muchowski passed for one TD, raising his season total to 40.
