SEMIFINAL
  Moorestown 7, Eastern 6:
Jim Pringle, Pete Honeyford and Dave Zasuavny combined to stop QB Jeff Sneddon on a conversion run with 2:58 left. The Quakers' Joe Speese (20-123) scored on a 6-yard run in the first quarter and Jeff Masters nailed the PAT. Ray Horn's late inerception sealed the win.
FINAL
  Moorestown 22, Sterling 18:
John Havers passed 19-for-35 and hit Jeff Dever for a game-winning, 18-yard TD with 0:38 left, thus bagging the Quakers' first sectional championship and terminating Sterling's 20-game winning streak. Short TDs by Havers and Joe Speese (19-74) spurred Moorestown to a 13-0 lead before the Silver Knights stormed to the next 18 points and then took an intentional safety.

1982

SEMIFINAL
  Eastern 42, Moorestown 17:
Though both teams entered this one unbeaten, Eastern wound up dominating thanks to a 28-0 second half. Todd Powell passed 12-for-21 for 107 yards and two TDs -- one apiece to Todd Lott and Bill Emerson -- and kicked a 41-yard field goal.

1996

SEMIFINAL
  Moorestown 21, Deptford 14:
The Quakers twice rallied from deficits to post a win in their first playoff appearance since 1982. Jeff Miller notched two interceptions, including a clincher, while the decisive eight points came on Ryan Dalon's run and John Kernan's conversion. Kernan passed 12-for-14 for 102 yards while Damon Ray (27-163, TD) powered the running game.

  Hammonton 14, Moorestown 0:
In wicked mud, the Quakers picked up just three first downs in the second and twice were stopped on fourth-and-short situations. One chance followed Matt Frank's partial block of a punt.

  Bridgeton 14, Moorestown 12:
The Quakers went quiet after building a 12-0 lead on runs by Ryan Dalon and William Maxwell (70 yards). A last-minute, 19-yard field goal attempt was blocked.

1998

  Deptford 22, Moorestown 19:
Ken Triboletti ran for TDs of 61 and 35 yards and finished the season with 1,000-plus yards. Alas, he was rocked early in the second half and carried the ball just three more times. The teams went back and forth throughout after the Quakers opened the scoring.

  Moorestown 31, Egg Harbor Twp. 28:
Jeff Hadden, having only played linebacker to this point in the game, plunged one yard into the end zone with 0:43 remaining to hand the Quakers the drmatic victory.The day before, due to a high fever snd sore throat, Hadden missed practice and said he slept for 16 hours. He was far from the lone hero -- Ken Triboletti collected 127 yards and two TDs on 30 carries while posting one more score on an 84-yard kickoff return.

  Ocean City 20, Moorestown 14:
OC locked things up by making a midfield interception with a shade over a minute remaining. The Quakers had claimed a 20-14 lead at 2:20 on a 14-play, 91-yard drive capped by Mark Thompson from the 9.

2000

  Moorestown 35, Collingswood 7:
Jeff Hadden (10-85, three) and Albert Young (22-158) combined for five rushing scores as the Quakers coasted.
SEMIFINAL
  Moorestown 27, Buena 7:
The Quakers were properly awakened after the game’s first possession yielded a TD for Buena. QB Mark Thompson (126 rushing, one TD; 81 passing, two TDs) and RB Albert Young both accounted for over 200 yards of offense. Young also had an interception and made seven tackles while Matt Wisnosky hammered two field goals.
FINAL
  Moorestown 24, Hammonton 3:
The Quakers captured their second sectional title and set a school record for wins (11-1 overall) as Albert Young turned 23 carries into 177 yards and one TD, a 71-yarder. On the first play of the second half, Kevin Ketchel made a momentum-changing fumble recovery.

2002

QUARTERFINAL
  Moorestown 31, Deptford 7:
Albert Young powered and darted for 233 yards and three TDs (29 for season) on 20 carries. He spent part of the game as a decoy wide receiver.
SEMIFINAL
  Delsea 21, Moorestown 14:
Delsea, No. 1 team in the Courier-Post's Top 10, upped its record to 10-0 by, to an extent, thwarting Abert Young (15-89, TD). An onsides kick followed Young's TD, but Delsea recovered.

2003

QUARTERFINAL
  Moorestown 39, Haddonfield 7:
The Quakers rolled to an easy win despite losing four fumbles. Steve Phillips rushed 10 times for 107 yards and two tallies while Bobby Murray scored on a 63-yard interception return. Haddonfield lost the yardage battle, 431-135.
SEMIFINAL
  Overbrook 26, Moorestown 14:
After blowing a 14-0 lead, 'Brook responded with two quick scores. Tyruss Mateo's 17-yard TD catch was the Quakers' highlight.

2004

QUARTERFINAL
  Moorestown 10, Williamstown 7:
Counting twice via penalties, the Quakers permitted just five first downs and 87 yards. A 10-0 lead was owned at halftime thanks to Andrew Steele's run and Ryan Hughes' field goal. The passing of Bryan Hayes (10-for-24, 170; overall) was a key factor on those drives.
SEMIFINAL
  Moorestown 14, Hammonton 13:
Hammonton came in undefeated and left deflated due to Shane Szumski's block of a PAT. Szumski also recovered a fumble in the end zone for a score. On a trick play, tailback Al Pierce hit Paul Cynewski for a 28-yard touchdown.
FINAL
  Deptford 28, Moorestown 21:
DaJaune Collins (18-214) rushed for three scores, including two in the final seven minutes, as Deptford made itself part of a South Jersey record: four teams finished 12-0. TD runs by Andrew Steele and Al Pierce gave the Quakers a 21-14 lead with 10:07 left.

2006

  Moorestown 19, Lawrence 14:
The eighth-seeded Quakers started this upset in unusual fashion, at 5-0, thanks to a blocked punt through the end zone and Jon Lefferts’ 34-yard field goal.
SEMIFINAL
  Moorestown 34, Hamilton West 14:
Bryan Burnham set up two TDs with a fumble recovery and interception as the Quakers continued their unlikely run. The coolest TD was a halfback pass from Mikey Reynolds to Matt Neal-Mink. Kim Harris had two rushing scores.
FINAL
  Middletown South 38. Moorestown 0:
MS emphatically ended the Quakers’ special run, not allowing them to gain a first down or even cross midfield until the third quarter. Thirty-one rushes produced just 47 yards.

2007

QUARTERFINAL
  Moorestown 42, Wall Twp. 13:
Mikey Reynolds scored three TDs in as many ways -- 86 kickoff (after Wall had advanced within 21-13), 38 punt, 21 rush -- as the Quakers won in impressive fashion. He finished with 81 yards on eight carries. Matt Emerson scurried for a 65-yard TD on the Quakers’ second scrimmage play.
SEMIFINAL
  Moorestown 38, Middletown South 7:
The Quakers gained sweet revenge for their lopsided loss against MS in the 2006 final, rolling to leads of 17-0 at halftime and 31-0 after three quarters. Linebackers Dom Sebastiani, John Mahaney and Matt Emerson, along with down lineman Eric Bratton, ruled the defensive roost, and the former’s strip produced a touchdown as Mike Jaskowski recovered the fumble and motored 35 yards.
FINAL
  Moorestown 20, Long Branch 6:
As the Quakers (12-0) seized their third sectional crown and set a school record for wins, Mikey Reynolds returned the opening kickoff for a 90-yard TD and Bryan Burnham (3-96) caught a TD pass from Shane Collier less than two minutes into the second half. Collier began the season as the backup QB to John Eller, who suffered a ruptured kidney on Oct. 20 against Winslow Township. Dom Sebastiani and John Mahaney halved 20 tackles.

2009

  Timber Creek 12, Moorestown 0:
The Quakers had earned at least one win their previous seven years of playoff appearances. TC struck early with a 95-yard run by Nahjee Gibson. In the first half, Moorestown ran 41 plays to the Chargers' 10.

2010

  Winslow Twp. 47, Moorestown 21:
WT stormed to 28 points in the second quarter and racked up 466 total yards. The Quakers' Andrew Lisa passed 17-for-38 for 269 yards and two TDs to Zac Frantz.

2011

  Moorestown 34, Oakcrest 7:
Delaney Wallace rushed for two TDs while Andrew Lisa ran for one passed for two.
SEMIFINAL
  Hammonton 33, Moorestown 21:
Hammonton won the final three quarters, 33-7. Andrew Lisa finished the season with 2,252 passing yards and 15 TDs.

2012

  Kingsway 52, Moorestown 47:
Your eyes did not deceive you. The teams really did combine for 99 points. They also combined for nine turnovers. At one point, the Quakers scored on six of seven possessions. Sidney Ruffin ran for one score, passed for two and was on the receiving end of one. Anthony Bonnet ran for two and Tyreek Robinson tossed for two. Kingsway's Ray Lawry registered five scores -- thrice on scrimmage runs, twice on kickoff returns.

2013

  Toms River South 35, Moorestown 21:
The Quakers lost the second half, 21-7. Mike DiMarino (12-for-24, 155) passed for two scores, with the highlight a 75-yarder to Dallas Clark. Also, Anthony Williamson posted a 54-yard sprint to paydirt.

  Allentown 48, Moorestown 3:
Josh Bearder's 22-yard, second-quarter field goal prevented a shutout.

2017

QUARTERFINAL
  Moorestown 16, Pennsauken 13:
The Quakers, who trailed early by 13-0, won it when Josh Pearcy ran for a 5-yard score with 3:38 left. Brian McMonagle left behind a sub-par effort by hitting Nick Cartwright-Atkins for an 18-yard gain on fourth-and-14 from the 23. Bobby Garrison recorded a safety.
SEMIFINAL
  Shawnee 40, Moorestown 7:
The Quakers' TD was posted by Nick Cartwright-Atkins on a 30-yard pass from Brian McMonagle. It was one of only three plays that netted more than 15 yards.
