  Brick Twp. 9, Pennsauken 7: The Indians scored on Will George's 25-yard pass to Chuck Newsome. Star halfback Dave Still was lost to an early injury. BT won it on a 25-yard field goal with 2:15 left by Warren Wolf Jr., son of the coach.

SEMIFINAL
  Toms River North 15, Pennsauken 14: The 8-0 Indians, South Jersey's top-ranked team, led by 14-0 with 10minutes left, but TRN pulled off the noteworthy upset as halfback Kevin Cassidy caught two scoring passes. Rich Lynn kicked the decisive PAT. Pennsauken's Spencer Ingram rushed 11 times for 123 yards and two scores, including a 57-yarder.

SEMIFINAL
  Pennsauken 20, Jackson 14: Coming off its lone loss, to Cherry Hill West, Pennsauken overcame a sluggish first half. Craig Parker ran 25 yards for a score on the second play of the third quarter and great defense by linebacker Stephon Holsey set up the Indians' last two TDs. Ivan Hicks passed 9-for-13 for 109 yards and a score to Benji King (5-61).

  Pennsauken 14, Willingboro 0: The Indians saved their points for the last quarter. Craig Parker (12-77, TD) and Chuck Faucette (19-73) led the rushing attack while Barry Butler picked up a fumble (forced by Joe Johnson) and stepped into the end zone for a 2-yard TD.

  Pennsauken 35, Toms River East 6: In a do-it-all performance, Rick Bender passed for 220 yards and four scores and ran for another. Keith Taylor made two of the scoring snags. The longest was a 74-yarder.

  Brick Twp. 10, Pennsauken 7: The Indians surrendered 10 points in the fourth quarter. They scored on Keith Taylor's 21-yard run.

SEMIFINAL
  Willingboro 16, Pennsauken 13: Willingboro's Mike Prescott opened the scoring with a 95-yard run and closed it with a 33-yarder. Joe Morgan (pass from Jason Hicks) and Todd McNair (run) tallied for Pennsauken.

1984

  Pennsauken 38, Vineland 23:
Tim Loper rushed 17 times for 179 yards and TDs of 32 and 50 yards and covered that same latter distance with a TD pass from Jason Hicks. Loper's TDs came in succession and expanded a 12-7 lead to 32-7.
FINAL
  Pennsauken 27, Cherokee 0: The Indians and coach Vince McAneney earned the school's first perfect record (11-0) thanks in large part to three TDs over an 11-minute span in the first half; the longest was Tim Loper's 73-yard run. In the fourth quarter -- Dave Griggs, 3-yarder from Jason Hicks -- made sure Cherokee would not finish the season not having allowed a passing TD. Griggs also starred on defense, recovering a fumble and batting down three passes at the line of scrimmage.

  Pennsauken 28, Toms River South 13: With star rusher Scott McNair due to injury, coach Vince McAneney heeded the advice of his 13-year-old son, Terry, and decided to hit the airwaves. Todd Carducci (5-7, 150) passed for 208 yards and Frank Polk turned three catches or 162 yards and two scores.
FINAL
  Cherokee 14, Pennsauken 0: The Indians were still reeling after losing to archrival Bishop Eustace, 28-0, after McAneney benched 19 players for missing a practice. Carducci, sacked five times, never got going.

1986

SEMIFINAL
  Pennsauken 40, Pemberton 21: Scott McNair notched 109 yards and three TDs on 12 carries. He also prevented a score by forcing a fumble that Bill Hill recovered.
FINAL
  Pennsauken 29, Toms River South 6: Coach Vince McAneney bagged his second perfect season (11-0) as Scott McNair (123 yards) again rushed for three TDs. Bill Wiley connected with Frank Polk for a 34-yard score.

1993

  Egg Harbor 19, Pennsauken 8: The Indians had no answer for soph Andrew Parker, who ran 23 times for 237 yards and three TDs. Their TD was tallied by Kenya Burton-Kirk on a 15-yard pass from Lyrone Martin.

SEMIFINAL
  Pennsauken 27, Brick Twp. 7: Coming off a 1-8 debut season, coach Pete Tate earned a spot in the championship game while the Indians lifted their record to 8-1. Clinton Tabb posted two of Pennsauken's six interceptions. Greg Cole added 10 tackles to his pilfer.
FINAL
  Mainland 14, Pennsauken 7: Mainland broke a 7-7 tie on Jeff Boyd's short keeper with 2:12 on the clock. Pennsauken's Mark Brown prevented two early TDs with a fumble recovery and interception and Cliff Horsey's toss to Clinton Tabb provided a 7-0 lead.

1998

  Millville 14, Pennsauken 12: The Indians built a 12-7 lead on TD passes from Cliff Horsey to Ken McClain, but lost a chance to again take the lead when a fumble at the 5 with five minutes remaining prevented what have been a punt-return score.

Atlantic City 20, Pennsauken 13: Calvin Bell’s 66-yard punt return and Matt Lawton’s 1-yard run helped the Indians roar back from a 20-0 deficit, but they were stopped short due to an interception with 0:55 remaining.

  Old Bridge 30, Pennsauken 0: The Indians lost four fumbles and were often tackled in the backfield. Plus, a punt was blocked for a safety.

2005

  Pennsauken 25, Atlantic City 7: Before suffering an injury late in the first half, Robert Darby carried 17 times for 121 yards and one TD. Wendell Johnson filled in admirably, turning 24 totes into 80 yards and two tallies.
SEMIFINAL
  Absegami 28, Pennsauken 0: Seven sacks forced the Indians to finish to minus-46 rushing yards. Absegami drove 96 yards for a score on the game’s first series.

2006

Pennsauken 20, Atlantic City 17: Cashaun Green recorded four sacks and Wendell Johnson netted 133 yards and two TDs on 32 rushes.
SEMIFINAL
  Absegami 21, Pennsauken 12: A too-soon snap aborted a fourth-and-inches play when the Indians appeared ready to take the lead in the third quarter.

2008

  South Brunswick 21, Pennsuken 12:
SB twice responded with quick TDs after the Indians moved close. Nagil Johnson (5-for-11, 101 yards) passed to Gerry Phillips for one score and Talir Satterwhite-Rowe (9-73) rushed for another.

QUARTERFINAL
  South Brunswick 36, Pennsauken 33: Byron Rozier’s 2-yard run provided a 33-29 lead in the fourth quarter, but SB rallied for one more score. The Indians’ Manny Cortez passed for two six-pointers and ran for another.

  Pennsauken 31, Atlantic City 9: The Indians stormed back from a 12-9 halftime deficit and the outburst enabled them to score at least 30 points in all nine of their games. d at least 30 points attained 30 points for the ninth time this season. In the fourth quarter, Manny Cortez passed to Amar Williams for a TD and lateraled to Williams for another score on a punt return. He also hit Anthony Sweet with a TD toss.
SEMIFINAL
  Pennsauken 52, Triton 16: Manny Cortez was responsible for seven TDs, passing for five and running for two. In the second quarter, with the Indians trailing by 14-7, Cortez fielded a punt on the Pennsauken 31, took one step, turned and fired the ball across the field to Amar Williams, who raced to Triton’s 7 to set up a touchdown. Williams also made 11 tackles and recovered a fumble.
FINAL
  Pennsauken 55, Millville 34: Manny Cortez dominated from start to finish, accounting for 492 yards and eight touchdowns as the Indians won their fourth sectional crown and first since 1986. He passed 16-for-26 for 340 and five while rushing 12 for 152 and three. Oh, he also ran for a two-point conversion. Four of Cortez’ TD passes went to Andre Williams (9-185). Cortez’ season total of 43 TD passes gave him the South Jersey record; Holy Cross’ Jason Amer had notched 40 in 1999. He also posted 3,098 yards.

Freehold Boro 69, Pennsauken 56: This really was a football game, not basketball. Freehold’s Ashante Worthy accounted for TEN touchdowns in what could have passed for a track meet. He carried 43 times for 465 yards and eight TDs and passed for two more in the highest-scoring game in Jersey playoff history. Pennsauken’s Martin Booker was right on Worthy’s heels, carrying 40 times for 376 yards and eight touchdowns.
