D1A Offensive Player of the Week: Arkansas Sr. RB David Williams (Imhotep) rushed for 75 yards on 8 carries and a TD in a loss at Mississippi State.
D1A Defensive Player of the Week: Rutgers Jr. LB Trevor Morris (Malvern) rang up a career high 18 tackles in a loss to Indiana.
D1AA Rookie of the Week: Colgate Fr. RB Malik Twyman (Haverford) rushed for 108 yards in a win over Georgetown.
D1AA Offensive Player of the Week: Princeton So. RB Ryan Quigley (Lansdale) racked up 61 receiving yards in a loss to Dartmouth.

D2/3 Offensive Player of the Week: West Chester R-Fr. WR Rasheem James (Ben Franklin) caught 3 passes for 67 yards and a TD in an upset road win at Shippensburg helping the Rams advance to the D2 Super Regional second round playoffs.
D2/3 Defensive Player of the Week: Delaware Valley Sr. LB TJ Waters (West Catholic) rang up 8 tackles in the Aggies win over Western New England as they advance to the Sweet 16 round of the D3 playoffs.
WEEK 12 Antbits/Notes
**Congrats to James Madison, New Hampshire, Lehigh & Monmouth who all qualified for the D1AA playoffs.
**Maryland Jr. WR D.J. Moore (Imhotep) snagged 8 passes for 67 yards in a loss to Michigan State
**West Chester behind strong defensive play from Jr. CB Shaquille James (West Catholic ) 6 tackles & 2 pass breakups knocked off ranked Shippensburg on the road to advance to the second round of the NCAA playoffs where they will travel to IUP looking for pay back after being routed 2 weeks ago in the PSAC championship game.
**Delaware Valley advanced to the second round of the NCAA playoffs behind strong offensive contributions from our city guys QB Dashawn Darden (O’Hara) & RB Khalil Roane (N-G). They will host 10-1Husson University looking to tie a school record for wins in a season with 12 as they currently stand at 11-0.
**Maine R-Fr. QB Chris Ferguson (La Salle) finished his freshman campaign off in style by throwing for 256 yards and 2 TDs in a setback against Stony Brook. For his freshman year Chris finished the season throwing for 2064 yards & 16 TDs.
END OF THE SEASON AWARDS/NOTES
D1A Rookie of the Year: Georgia Fr. RB D’Andre Swift (SJP) who as a freshman finished third in rushing on the team who finished as #2 in the country after a heartbreaking 23-26 OT loss to Alabama in the national title game. D’Andre finished his first season with 618 yards rushing with 3 TDs along with 153 receiving yards and a TD reception.
D1A Offensive Player of the Year: Maryland Jr. WR DJ Moore (Imhotep) was named BIG 10 WR of the Year while also earning team MVP and First Team All Big 10 honors after recording over 1000 receiving yards (1080) catching passes from 4 different QB’s for a total of 8 TDs while also adding a rushing TD
D1A Defensive Player of the Year: Rutgers Jr LB Trevor Morris (Malvern) rang up 118 tackles for the Scarlet Knights while being named Honorable Mention All Big 10 by the Media.
D1A Grunt of the Year: Notre Dame R-Sr OL Mike McGlinchey (Penn Charter) helped the Fighting Irish rebound from a 4 win season to improve to 10 wins and a Citrus Bowl win over LSU
D1AA Rookie of the Year: Villanova Fr. DB Jaquan Amos (Northeast) registered 42 tackles, 2 interceptions, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble returning it 99 yards for the Wildcats as a true freshman.
D1AA Offensive Player of the Year: Maine R-Fr. QB Chris Ferguson (La Salle) threw for 2064 yards & 16 TDs while rushing for an additional TD in 10 games for the Black Bears this season.
D1AA Defensive Player of the Year: Holy Cross Jr. LB Ryan Brady (La Salle) rang up 110 tackles including 4 sacks and 10 tackles for loss for the Crusaders.
D1AA Grunt of the Year: Delaware R-So OL Steve Robinson (SJ Prep) helped the Blue Hens increase their record from 4-7 in 2016 to 7-4 in 2017.
D2 Rookie of the Year: Shippensburg R-Fr. WR Winston Eubanks (La Salle) caught 45 passes for 1202 yards and 12 TDs for the Red Raiders helping them reach the NCAA playoffs.
D2 Offensive Player of the Year: Indiana (Pa) So. RB Samir Bullock (Ryan) ran for 1252 yards and 13 TDs for the Crimson Hawks leading them to the D2 semifinals for the first time in 18 years.
D2 Defensive Player of the Year: Notre Dame Sr. DL Claudy Mathieu (Washington) rang up 58 tackles including 14.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks and forced 3 Fumbles for the Falcons.
D2 Grunt of the Year: Bloomsburg Jr. DL Chris Gary (Wood) notched 37 tackles including 12 tackles for loss, 7 sacks, 5 forced fumbles and recovered 2 fumbles returning one 55 yards for a TD.
D3 Rookie of the Year: Muhlenberg Fr. QB Michael Hnatkowsky (Penn Charter) threw for 2091 yards & 20 TDs smashing the school freshman passing records for yards & TDs. He also added 4 rushing TDs for the Mules.
D3 Offensive Player of the Year: Delaware Valley Jr. QB Dashawn Darden (O’Hara) threw for 2408 yards & 27 TDS while also rushing for 704 yards & 9 more TDs leading the Aggies to the D3 Quarterfinals.
D3 Defensive Player of the Year: Ursinus So. LB Jacob McCain (Penn Charter) rang up 73 tackles, forced a fumble and intercepted 2 passes for the Bears.
D3 Grunt of the Year: Franklin & Marshall So. OL Brian Denocour (Haverford)
FINAL YEAR NOTES
**Congrats to the Delaware Valley University team on reaching the quarterfinals of the NCAA playoffs before losing on a time expiring field goal. Jr. QB Dashawn Darden (O’Hara) somehow was snubbed from being named all-conference but used it to have an amazing playoff run and returns with what should be another NCAA playoff team. Coach Duke Greco has done an fabulous job recruiting City League guys out of the 3 Leagues as well as keeping a great relationship with them when they opt for D2/D1 offers in case things don’t work out ie: former QB Aaron Wilmer (Washington/West Chester) & current LB TJ Waters (West Catholic/Duquesne).
**Congrats to the IUP team on reaching the D2 semifinals before losing to NCAA runner up West Florida. So. RB Samir Bullock (Ryan) is on pace to finish in the top 3 for career rushing yards for IUP. So. WR Dom McNeil (King) enjoyed a breakout year filling in for injured Sr. WR Walt Pegues (Central) for most of the season before Walt made his return in time for the playoffs.
**Temple Jr. LB Todd Jones (SJ Prep) went from walk-on to starter for the Owls after their starting ILB went down with an injury posting 31 tackles. For his contribution during the 2017 season he was awarded a scholarship for his senior campaign in 2018.
**Arkansas Sr. RB David Williams (Imhotep) made the most of his second chance opportunity as a graduate transfer by rushing for career highs in rushing yardage (656) rushing TDs (8) receiving yards (171) and receiving TDs (2) for the Razorbacks.
**Wisconsin So. QB Alex Hornibrook (Malvern) earned Orange Bowl MVP honors after having a career game against Miami throwing for 258 yards & 4 TDs.
**Congrats and best of luck to Maryland Jr. WR DJ Moore (Imhotep) who after earning Big 10 receiver of the year and first team honors has entered the NFL Draft as well as earned a NFL Draft Combine invitation.
**Rutgers Fr. RB Rasheem Blackshear (Wood) turned in an impressive freshman campaign totaling 705 all-purpose yards & scoring 5 TDs earning Honorable Mention All-Big 10 Network All-Freshman honors.
**California Sr. QB Michael Kier (Roman) finished his collegiate career as a 2 year starter with 6657 yards passing and 61 passing TDs to accompany 7 rushing TDs.
**Wesley Sr. WR James Okike (Bonner-Pendergast) after sitting out the 2016 season returned posting monster numbers 60 receptions, 900 yards & 9 TDs for the Wolverines as they advanced to the D3 playoffs. He was also named to the first team all NJAC conference team for his great season.
**Georgia Fr. RB D’Andre Swift (SJ Prep) finished his true freshman season campaign with 618 rushing yards & 3 TDs for the runner ups. Was named his team Offensive Newcomer of the year voted on by Georgia coaches.
**Penn State R-So. DE Shareef Miller (Washington) earned Honorable Mention All-Big 10 honors after posting a solid sophomore campaign racking up 5 sacks amongst 37 tackles.
*Congrats to ASA So. OL John Carlo Valentine (Imhotep) who has signed to play at Baylor for former Temple HC Matt Rhule.
*Congrats to LA Valley Junior College So. DE Jeromy Reichner (West Catholic) who recently gave his pledge to commit and play at Oregon State for the next two seasons.

**Cheyney University has decided to discontinue their football program leaving many former city league guys looking for another school to transfer to. NCAA rules allow for them to transfer to any school without having to sit out in 2018. Best wishes going forward to all our guys who will be suiting up at another school in 2018 as well as those who pursue their education at Cheyney while retiring their cleats and helmets...

*Villanova Fr. S Jaquan Amos (Northeast) snagged his second interception of the season in a 6-30 loss to #1 James Madison. On the season so far he has 2 interceptions including 1 returned for a score, and a fumble recovered 99 yards.
*Rutgers Fr. RB Raheem Blackshear (Archbishop Wood) ran 6 times for 87 yards and a TD in the Scarlet Knight’s 35-24 win over Illinois

**East Stroudsburg Sr. QB Tim DiGorgio (Frankford) was having a career day for the Warriors throwing for 202 yards & 3 TDs against rival Bloomsburg before suffering an injury that sat him out the second half of the game.
**In the initial CFP rankings Penn State is #2 behind Alabama with a huge date with Ohio State this upcoming Saturday night in State College
