What a day and night!! . . .
Bodine's Nadir Matthews
scored 37 points in his final game to edge
Randolph's Eugene Lett,
28.8 to 28.6, for the Pub scoring title.
**Congrats to Gtn. Academy coach Jim Fenerty, who tonight earned his 500th
career coaching win as the Patriots edged Haverford School, 60-59. (Jim was
not on site due to a health issue. Long-time assistant Mike Hannigan ran the
show).**
In Constitution's victory over Strawberry Mansion, sr. PG Daiquan Walker
surpassed 1,000 career points and a brief ceremony was held. Then, at
halftime, sr. F Savon Goodman (transfer from ANC) was recognized for 1,500
points. Coach Rob Moore arrived just in time to fete Walker and Goodman . .
. then immediately departed to resume being with just-born daughter Cassidy
and mother Genna. All are doing great!
