-The Panthers raced to a 32-7 halftime lead and never looked back. This team continues to rip-off big plays to demoralize their opponents.

-The Vikings went a little old school in sailing past Whitehall from District-11. RB's Shawn Thompson & Raheem "Speedy" Blackshear accounted for 416 yards on just 28 totes between them.

-The Panthers looked somewhat pedestrian in their win over a game O'Hara club, but still managed to produce three scores over 50 yards.

-Soph. QB Jack Colyar unleashed an assault on the Bulldogs that saw him produce 309 yards passing and 5 TDs. Oh yea, all of that occurred in the 1st half.

-The Hawks were beyond impressive in their dismantling of Roman this past weekend. Four different Hawks found the end zone in less than a 4-minute span in the second quarter.

-I think forfeits might be the way to keep this offense down. Bartram and their dynamic QB Mamud Dioubate are up next in attempt to give the Panthers a little resistance.

-The Vikings are used to playing into December. They'll need to take care business against the Raiders to begin that quest again.

-The Friars held-off the Quakers behind Zac Fernadez's 326 rushing yards and 4 TD performance. Another Inter-Ac title is within reach with a win at SCH this weekend.

-The Explorers got past Judge behind Syaire Madden's 167-yard rushing night. They're considerable underdogs this week versus the Hawks, but I doubt rolling over is an option with this bunch.

This Week: BYE
-The Lions scored the game's final twenty-two points to get past a game Bonner-Prendie club. They'll rest this week before meeting the Public League's rep for the district title.

-Despite falling behind 21-7 the Quakers fought back to take a fourth quarter lead, but in the end their 435 yards of offense wasn't enough to hold-off the Friars.

-The Patriots jumped out to a 21-0 lead and held on against a good Fords' club. Huge win for Matt Dence and his program.

-The usual explosive Fords' offense sputtered much of the day in their 21-14 to defeat to GA. Still, this week's clash with Episcopal should be a dandy.

-The Churchmen blanked SCH for an impressive 31-0 victory. Beating rival HS and finishing on a high note will be something they look to do in their league finale.

-The Hawks scored the first four times they had the ball before putting things into cruise control. Roman, which held the Hawks to a season low 22 points, is up next.

-The Panthers get their Pub playoffs started this week. It's the first step in what hopes to be back-to-back state championship seasons.

-The Vikes are peaking at the right time and are winners of six straight. They'll rest a week before a PCL 5A title game versus the Carroll/Ryan winner.

-HS scored 57 points and amassed 576 yards in their destruction of SCH this past weekend. Star RB Malik Twyman found the end zone six times during the onslaught.

-The Lions remained unbeaten with a dramatic double-OT win over the Burrs. It was O'Hara's first league title since 2004.

-The Quakers have been using a balanced attack offensively to stay in the Inter-Ac Title hunt. A surging Malvern club visits Friday afternoon.

-The Patriots fell behind early, thus eliminating any chance of late-game heroics for a fourth straight week. Finding their winning ways again won't be easy this week against the Fords.

-The Panthers had their neighborhood clash with Del Val squashed due to social media nonsense. Needs to stop! A pre-playoff tune-up with Northeast on deck.

-The Vikings are beginning to hit their stride after their 5th straight win where they have outscored opponents, 175-55. Intriguing match-up with LaSalle looms.

-The Friars went on the road to upend the Fords for only the second time in the last 8 seasons. Zac Fernandez amassed 150 yards of rushing/receiving in the victory.

-Compared to previous weeks the Panthers made it thru a nail-biter this week against the Pioneers. Del Val next on the chopping block for loaded 'Tep.

-Defensively, the Vikings continued to stuff the opponents' running game. Meanwhile, soph QB Jack Colyar tossed three scoring passes; two to junior TE Kyle Pitts.

-The Fords needed a late TD to send the game to overtime and then after scoring first in that session stymied the Quakers attempt for a win on a trick play.

-The Explorers got three cracks at a game-winning FG in the final minute of regulation to hold off Roman in a physical contest. Arch-rival SJ Prep awaits.

-The Panthers blasted a good Malvern team and amassed 523 yards of offense in the process. QB Nasir Boykin passed/rushed for a 272 total yards.

-RB Shawn Thompson accounted for four TDs and a stingy Vikings defense limited Ryan to minus-12 yards rushing.

-In a game being broadcasted by ESPNU the Vikings will host the Hawks in the PCL Red division opener for both clubs.

-Despite leading rusher O'Shaan Allison being out with shoulder woes the Friars outlasted the Explorers at Franklin Field.

-The Fords overcame a 26-8 second half deficit by scoring 29 unanswered in the game's final 15 minutes. Win streak stands at 21 consecutive.
