Hoops in Wee Hours . . . 

  This story, about people who stayed up deep into the night playing basketball,
appeared in the Philadelphia Daily News on July 10, 1980. DN sidekick Thomas
"Hockey Puck" McKenna and photographer Wayne Faircloth were part of the
posse. I decided to post this story -- it's below, in three parts -- on the 35th
anniversary. Hope you enjoy it. Thanks to all participants. This was a career
highlight from the lots-of-fun standpoint.
