  In 2018, Malvern Prep became the second team in Inter-Ac League history to finish with an overall
record of 11-0. The other was Germantown Academy's 1903 squad. Those Patriots outscored their
opponents by 277-5 and were given this tribute in the Philadelphia Inquirer roughly a month after the
season ended with a 33-0 win over Penn Charter. (TDs were worth five points in that season, as were field
goals. FGs were reduced to four points in 1904.) A team pic -- apparently, there were only 12 players --
and the story are below. . . . Note: In that era it was commonplace for first names of athletes/coaches
not to appear in stories.

  Top, L to R -- Adcock, RT, Tilden, manager; Peacock, C; Kline, LG.
  Middle, L to R -- F. Brown, substitute; Tibbott, RHB; Tourison, RG; Captain Stoever, FB; Coach N.P. Stauffer;
R. De Bow, LT; Wister, LE.
  Front, L to R -- Sheble, RE; Newhall, QB; Johnston, LHB.
