Will's Weekend Forecast
Football 2009

Will McGonigle served in great fashion as the chief manager for Cardinal O'Hara's football team, and has also done some grade-school coaching. He's now at Delco Community and also contributes to easternpafootball.com. O'Hara coach Danny Algeo was the first to say Will had a chance to be more famous than Hockey Puck ever thought of being. Many have since agreed (smile).

MISSION STATEMENT
I enter this competition for fun. Also, I believe I can provide Huck some competition every week. But Puck is the master. He might bury me (LOL). I'll pick all the games and make best estimates of final scores. I'll also pick an upset special each week.

WEEK 16
  Well, guys, it's been fun.
General Thoughts: Well, Huck, like I said congratulations on your Pickin' Parade title. You finally beat Puck again. Speaking of Nutman . . . Don't get too comfortable because you beat me this season. I'll be back looking for revenge. Lastly there are several things I'd like to do. First I want to send well wishes to North Catholic Assistant Bill Sytsma on his upcoming coaching career in Europe. Coach I know myself and the rest of the Liberty Belles will miss you. Last, but certainly not least, on behalf of my family and my best friend Tara and her family, allow me to wish everyone who visits this site a very Merry Christmas, and safe and happy New Year!!!
The Pick
La Salle 35, State College 21. Jolly old Santa Claus brings Catholic League fans like myself a early Christmas present -- finally being able to see a Catholic League team hoist state gold. Congrats to the Explorers on a great season!!

WEEK 15
Comments: To La Salle, Wood and West -- Congrats on making it this far. You guys have proven me right when I said to guys at www.EasternPAfootball.com that the Catholic League is the best in the state. No matter what happens this week, keep your heads up. You guys have made the league proud.
Picks
Wood 31, Selinsgrove 28
West Catholic 28, Lancaster Catholic 27
La Salle 42, Ridley 35   "This game is gonna be a shootout. Both got a solid pass game and run game. Both defenses are hot, but I'm predicting a stat-filled game."

La Salle 38, Easton 28

West 49, Bok 8. Plain and simple -- the Burrs are the best AA team in the Area

To Huck: Well, congrats on your victory. At least we don't have to listen to Puck brag for a whole year.
To Al Golden and his staff at Temple: I know this ain't high school football related, but congrats to you guys winning for 6 in a row and I can't wait to see you guys in a Bowl game.

To Huck: Like I said to you in the ticket booth at PW on Ted's phone Saturday night, I'll be back next year.
To everyone: Well, one of my favorite holidays is here -- Halloween. Here's hoping the game you attend this week is a treat and not a trick.
