  Website stalwart Mark "Frog" Carfagno was a long-time groundskeeper for the Phillies. He returned to Citizens Bank Park this weekend and hung out with some friends.   Did you know? . . . The revered Paul Bartolomeo, known to all as "Bart", was the head coach in football AND baseball for 33 years at Southeast Catholic/Bishop Neumann/St. John Neumann. Click here for a late-season football story and here for a late-season baseball story. They were written in the 1978-79 school year. Bart won six CL championships (two football, four baseball) and four City Titles (one/three). Also, a football team was a co-City champ.

  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Rev. Dan Devine, who passed away on Tuesday. In 1955, he was a basketball starter for the ol' St. Thomas More. He became a priest in 1965 and filled many roles at schools/churches. His brothers, Jack and Bob, were stars at West Catholic. His nephews, Ed and Dan Hastings, starred in hoops at Bonner.
