The Cahillites, who trailed by 26-0, roared back to edge Pope Paul II, 47-46. Previous mark: In a non-league, early-season game in '97, Kennedy-Kenrick beat Dougherty, 46-45. . . Also yesterday, there was a high-scoring two-pointer as Lansdale Catholic, in coach Dom D'Addona's debut, beat Judge, 44-42.

  Eastern Regional sr. TJ Franden, also a football star, won the NJ Region 7 wrestling championship at 195 pounds. Congrats! . . . Costas Pavlides and Dainon Kappes placed third and fifth, respectively.
  Germantown Academy's girls beat Shipley, 58-43, to win the PAISAA Tournament and finish 30-1 overall. Congrats! . . . Only loss: On Jan. 18 to Miami Country Day (FL), recently ranked No. 1 in nation by USA Today.
